This was so simple to use, there's not really much to comment on. However, I will say that the adhesive could stand to be a little stickier. I've had to adjust ours a couple of times as the door grabbed it and pulled it away from where it was stuck. It went back into place fine.     • Much More Effective and Durable as Compared to Foam

This Silicone Weather Stripping is very nice. It does a much better job, and is vastly more durable as compared to the foam stuff available in big box stores. But, there is very little difference in cost. I have a rather large gap around my exterior door. I had foam weather stripping there. But, it was still drafty and you could see light around it if you looked hard. I replaced it with this silicone product. The difference was night and day. It door closes much more securely, as the silicone is much more springy. It pushed the door back against the lock. Doing so, it creates a much better seal. I also noticed it does a better job of soundproofing. Lawn mower and weedeater noise if noticeably dimished. This is very easy to apply. The backing is quite sticky. I recommend removing the old weatherstripping and take time to clean the surface where this will be applied. I'd also suggest carefully planning and placing it as it will stick very securely, and it is best not to have to pull it off and restick it. Doing so will reduce the adhesion to the surface long term. The silicone should last a very long time. It is very tough material and is very flexible at lower environmental temperatures. So, it shouldn't crack like softer plastics which are brittle when the temperature gets much below freezing. You get a just over 19 feet, about enough to do an small entry door with a little to spare. But, I suggest measuring before ordering. You will likely need more to do large doors, which will measure about 20 feet total around the circumference. I'd add a few inches to the measured door size as you are going around the frame, not the actual door. This is a nice product. My only complaint is that the standard length should be 21 feet. It should be provided in sufficient quantity to do a large entry door. It's better to waste a few inches than to not have enough. This may force the purchase of two rolls. Still, when I compare it to the foam stuff for nearly the same cost it easily gets five stars. ... show more

This worked well to take up some air gaps in our front door helping to keep in our cold air and keep out the desert heat. This was very easy to install as it is nice and flexible and the adhesive tape sticks well on a surface prepped with rubbing alcohol. Just measure length, pull tape paper and stick. ... show more

This weatherstripping is easy to install and does a fairly good job of closing the gap between the door and jamb. I had 1 small area that was still letting light (air) through but that is a problem with my door and not this product. The adhesive could be stickier though.
