I put a seedling under this grow light in a 2x2 grow tent while I wait for some free space in my larger tent and HOLY SMOKES! The plant, which is only around 30 days into veg, is already SO MUCH thicker and overall looks so much better than my last batch ever did, despite being the same “species”. It’s looking like I’m going to have to save up and get 3 more spider farmer lights for my larger tent because the quality of this light is SO impressive!! I am in love with the overall quality of this brand after this one small purchase and I can’t wait to be able to switch fully to spider farmer lighting! The quality of the light alone is amazing, but being able to dim the light is another awesome feature that I absolutely love, and I’m not sure how I’ve made it this long without good quality spider farmer lights. Excellent light! Arrived quickly, and was easy to set up. I love the dimmer knob, as well. Super low heat emission, amazing coverage, and my plants love it. Can't WAIT to see the results with it turned up to 100% while in flower. Great for a 3X3X5 tent. Stop thinking about it and get one!

It is a great addition. It has proven its benefits. I gave it four stars because it is a good light. However, on Amazon's description, the efficacy is inaccurate. I purchased mine here on Amazon and when i read the page on my particular model, on the booklet, it's real efficacy was different.

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said. Like many other reviewrs, I set up my first SF1000, fell in love with it, then ordered a second within 48 hours. I finally grew tired of the heat and the high electrical consumption of HPS grow lamps. I was also not getting the exact correct light wavelength with HPS lamps. I put a struggling cannabis plant under the spider farmer light and it's looking healthier, stronger, and more vibrant after just 48 hours! If I continue to have success with these lights, I know my kids will be purchasing them for their grow operations. UPDATE: Amazingly, I was able to sell my two old 150w HPS lights, so I bought another one of these Spider Farmer lights and created a small grow pad in a basement closet that stays 70° ... show more

These have everything but UV. I've used a lot of lights over the years, cheap and not. I use 2 of these in a small area (36"x20") and they work fantastic. Great dimming option. Not a ton of heat on max power compared to other lights. Plenty of light for the plants. Sturdy construction.
