Very impressed with this light! I grow Elephant Ears in an indoor greenhouse and they require full sun like conditions to grow their best. With my old lights there was very slow growth but after running these lights for a week. New leaves are not only growing rapidly but the true vivid colors are emerging on the leaves. Some plants immediately went to flowering as well. So far very satisfied with the results. The light is quiet but does produce heat, which helps keep my greenhouse warmer in winter. BESTVA was known for having some of the best blurple lights available, before this big migration to quantum boards, so the choice was simple when it was time to get another light. Even though I own an sp250 made by a certain Plants need the right spectrum and BESTVAs have been putting out the best, or some of the best, harvests!! The company named after a planet... welll...This company blows theirs away. My marz, lol or with an s, light was cheaply built. This light is not. In fact, that was the first thing I noticed. The build quality of this light is outstanding. It will certainly last through my time using it and I will be able to gift it to someone when I buy their 4000 series! Foliar feeding is part of my program and this light is built to handle accidental sprays and spills. The other company's customer service is lacking and I'm glad or I would never have made the switch. These reps were great and helped me tremendously I don't always write reviews but when I do get a product that I want others to experience, then I have to tell them about it! You just can't beat the pricing of this light for such great quality. I've been growing well over a year and can tell when my plants like something. Well they LOVE this light. I was very excited to see a fresh blanket of trichomes just days after installing this light. My prior light was either missing something or these lights are just that great of quality. Whatever it is I am a very happy camper. I've never seen them pray so hard as to this light!! I use a light meter app to compare lights and I was quite impressed to find it putting off better light than my Mars Hydro that cost hundreds. It was bittersweet, I'm angry that I wasted money on other lights. I should have bought all BESTVAs. Not to mention the other light company did not include a dimmer. A dimmer is very helpful when putting new plants under light for the first time or for starting seedlings. The other light, without a dimmer, would fry seedlings in my small tent because the area wasn't big enough for me to keep light at a proper distance. With this BESTVA I will be able to turn it down when I want to start seedlings and turn it up when I intend to flower them. There is a fan on one of my other lights that makes a terrible noise when it starts up and continues for about 15 minutes. It is not only ANNOYING but if that fan fails and the diodes overheat I could lose that light. These have a fanless design meaning one less part of the system that can go down on me costing months of work. This thing is quieter, brighter, built better and cost less than the other company's lights and I will not be buying from that other company ever again. I will definitely be buying another BESTVA when it is time to upgrade. Ooooorrrr.... My birthday is coming up. If you don't know what to get me. This. Get this. This is it!!! ... show more

Just started using this and I'm Glad that I purchased it. The first thing I noticed is how substantial it is compared to some other grow lights that I've purchased off Amazon. It definitely has weight and it came with accessories to help hang it. I especially like the pulley that was included so that I can raise and lower the light as needed. It's really a plug and play unit. Attach the cord and plug it in, turn the knob and you have an adjustable light. So far my flowering lemon tree appears to be hanging on under these bright lights. In the past, when I've had to bring in my citrus there was leaf drop. Not this time. The light puts off a little bit of heat which I appreciate because the only available spot that I have for my citrus is in a room that stays rather cool. On its highest level the light is super bright. Likely to get another one as soon as I can afford to. ... show more

I was running plug-and-play LED replacement bulbs in my 4-foot, 8-bulb ballast fixtures, but was not happy with the price of the LED bulbs or the results in my garden. I took a chance on the BP4000 and hung it over a 4' X 8' ebb-and-flow system in place of TWO 4-foot, 8-bulb ballast fixtures. You can see from the photo that the results are STELLAR! My plants have never been healthier or more productive. My peas and beans are just LOADED. Broccoli stayed compact and produced a beautiful head followed by lots of stout side shoots. Bok choi is super turgid and crisp. Getting cucumbers for the first time, after 10 years of trying. No other changes, same nutrients. I have only been running the light for about 2 months and am hoping the diodes will last a good number of years. I hope to someday replace my whopper HID lamp over my bucket system, where I put the taller plants like peppers and tomatoes. This fixture is VERY HIGH QUALITY and included good quality hangers as well. The light was very well packaged. I have not used the dimmer switch, but it would be useful to dial it down for seedlings and/or prevent eye strain while working among the plants. If you're on the fence, go for it. No regrets here! ... show more

I have owned this light since June of 2022. It has been a great light and has worked perfectly. It is really bright and I have it in an indoor tomato and lettuce garden. Recently half of it stopped working and I contacted the manufacturer and they offered to ship me a new one for free. Customer service like this is hard to find these days and I am even more happy with my decision to purchase this light. ... show more
