Apple did it again. Love the product easy to navigate and quality is good. Software is very responsive and doesn’t freeze. Connects very well and can use your iPhone as a controller.

Style: 128GB WiFi + Ethernet
I like everything about the Apple TV except some of its integration features and it’s touch pad. The touch pad prevents you from using the center/select button while watching videos, because if you press it, it registers that you are fast forwarding or rewinding. I turned the touch pad off because I got tired of accidentally scrolling forward or backward for wanting to pause or adjust settings. This created a whole new set of problems though. The search feature is the single most annoying part of this device. Every time I want to search a movie for example, my iphone goes haywire urging me to use it instead of the remote to search. I don’t want to use my phone though, and there’s no setting to turn it off. This is increasingly annoying if I’m actually using my phone since there is a giant bar at the top “just in case” I want to use the phone keyboard feature. It’s so big it blocks the time and even certain features in apps. To get rid of it you have to turn screen mirror on and off, but at that point you’re backed out of the search on your Apple TV…doomed to repeat the process over again. I had a 4k firestick with Ethernet adapter. Honestly, except the things I mentioned, Apple TV is great for the price. It’s faster, has more storage, connects to my iCloud, mirrors my iPhone screen seamlessly, has more apps, and has more options. But some of the everyday navigation and use is atrocious, along with the inability to separate your iPhone from the tv. If Apple would improve in app navigation, search functions, and options involving a paired device, this device would excel in every way. ... show more

I bought this for my son’s 44 birthday. 🥳 he was so delighted as he had been using an old Roku stick. His wife and son and he gave this craving reviews in quality and performance. He is now glued to it when not working. I have enjoyed mine so much I had purchased one for myself after having a 15 year old Apple TV 1. This version is such an improvement. You can download channels that are free and enjoy watching news and weather and old movies and shows for free along with live tv. Our family cut the cord and this is better than using tv services that run hundreds a month. I subscribe to Apple TV at a very cheap rate and prime and feel I have luxury …and can choose what I love watching!! I have had mine three years now. The 2022 edition 4k and my son now has it too. I purchased a quality hdmi cable to connect to the tv. Just can’t sing their praises enough!! ... show more
