I bought this for my son’s 44 birthday. 🥳 he was so delighted as he had been using an old Roku stick. His wife and son and he gave this craving reviews in quality and performance. He is now glued to it when not working. I have enjoyed mine so much I had purchased one for myself after having a 15 year old Apple TV 1. This version is such an improvement. You can download channels that are free and enjoy watching news and weather and old movies and shows for free along with live tv. Our family cut the cord and this is better than using tv services that run hundreds a month. I subscribe to Apple TV at a very cheap rate and prime and feel I have luxury …and can choose what I love watching!! I have had mine three years now. The 2022 edition 4k and my son now has it too. Pros: Sleek 4K HDR10+ Dolby Atmos Sound Siri A15 Bionic Chip Streamlined App Interface Cons: No USB Ports What I received in the package: 1 x APPLE TV 4K 1 x Remote 1 x Power Cable 1 x User Manual This APPLE TV 4K product is magnificently packaged just like all Apple products. This is a refurbished unit. But it looks perfect and brand new from the packing to the Apple TV to the remote. It looks brand new … not a scratch or blemish. This is my third Apple TV. Being a Mac user … I lean towards Apple for most of my toys. This Apple TV is quick, responsive and the interface beats any other I have tried. I have tried the Fire TV, Roku, and other streaming products. But I still stick with the Apple TV for a couple of reasons. First, it is just cleaner. The icons and setup are just more user friendly IMO. The unit keeps track where you are in your shows. I just appreciate the cleaner look. Also, it does not have the ads that products like the Fire TV have. I also appreciate that Apple has not sold out for that … yet. The setup was easy and cleverly pulled all the apps in that I currently use from my other Apple TVs. The remote has moved to the metal case. Which is great as for my older one. The first time my grandson touched it it cracked and broken. Still worked but just looked like junk. The only negative I have about the remote is that it is too sensitive. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, I love this Apple TV. The picture and sound are excellent and it exceeded my expectations. Hope this information was helpful. This is the first Apple TV that I have had and so far it is a mixed bag. The picture quality is amazing and I like the way I can connect to several streaming services. For most services it is great but for DirecTV stream, the remote is very cumbersome to use. I tried to use another multi device remote but it wasn’t any easier. Part of the problem might be the DTV app and not necessarily the device, but it is much easier to control DTV on my Fire Stick 4K Max than it is on my Apple TV. I bought this to replace a relatively new Roku ultra because Roku abruptly stopped supporting the VidAngel app and won’t reinstate it, while the Apple TV and FireTV both do support it. It was a hard choice between the new FireTV cube and this, but I eventually ended up going with the AppleTV. So far, other than the remote, I haven’t regretted my decision. It is very responsive and both sound and picture quality are great. I like that I can Airplay from my iPhone as well. I eventually chose the AppleTV over the FireTV Cube because of the cleaner interface on the Home Screen. I do not like all of the ads on the FireOS Home Screen, but would probably enjoy using the remote more since I already like the FireTV Stick 4K Max remote that I use in the bedroom. ... show more

Apple did it again. Love the product easy to navigate and quality is good. Software is very responsive and doesn’t freeze. Connects very well and can use your iPhone as a controller.
