Just 4 years ago this laptop was over $2,500. Today you can get it well less than $1,000. The condition looked brand new. Mac is still supporting with OS updates and this is the last generation macbook pros that you can still use bootcamp and install windows. Still very fast in both windows and mac side.     • Failed quickly, now an expensive paperweight
Bought this in May 2024. The power adapter (which was third-party) failed after 2 months, and then the Macbook itself stopped powering on after 5 months. Of course this was outside the return window, and no further support provided. I anticipate that any repair attempt will likely require a mainboard replacement and fitting, which will probably cost most of what I paid for the Macbook. So I paid $900 to own a used Macbook for 5 months. Silly me. I guess buying "Renewed" items from Amazon is basically a lottery. Won't be doing that again ... show more

I bought this because a MacBook Pro 13 that I purchased last fall turned out to be a piece of junk. There is a review here for that as well. Rather than put more money into repairs, I decided to replace it with this one. So far, I am pleasantly surprised. Battery life is around six hours, the physical condition is better than expected, the screen and keyboard seem like new, and it is fast! My 16” MacBook Pro was received in 3 days, much sooner than expected. Very well packaged. Definitely looks new even though it’s labeled as renewed. Everything works as expected. Love the performance. I was not 100% thrilled about the lack of proper packaging for a computer to be shipped in. This was very lacking. But for a refurbished product I would give this a 10/10 it looks 100% brand new it function's like new and so far I'm very happy with it. I highly recommend this merchant.
