I have lots of phaleonopsis and these work perfectly for attaching the flower stalks to stakes, keeping them approximately straight. Reasonable price and more than I'll need this year. Have a plastic jar handy for storing them. I use a spice jar with an opening at the top to allow shaking out one or two at a time. ... show more

I now have more orchid clips then I know what to do with. These are pretty good standard clips especially for smaller or thinner stemmed orchids. I wouldn't recommend these for thicker stemmed flower spikes like some of the larger oncidiums or phals and definitely not for cattleyas (unless small ones). The clips do feel a bit thin and the prongs will likely break easily, but as long as it can keep the flower spike to the stake it's fine. Great buy for the price though, and if one breaks you'll have PLENTY to replace it! ... show more

These clips do their job well on my orchid plant. Their color blends in perfectly with the branches and don't distract from the shape and beauty of the flowers. I don't really need 200 clips, just a few, but for the price you pay, at least you are getting enough to last for any number of plants you may wish to support. My first clips like these came on a gorgeous orchard plant from the florist. These clips were the perfect size to hold the orchard stem to the support stakes in the pot. They didn't crimp the plant but they also didn't allow the plant to sag. They very closely match the coloring of the stem so you don't notice them unless you look.
