I chose the rectangular style stencils but they also come in a round style and an irregularity style. I chose the rectangular because I wanted to use them on a small canvas. The stencils measure 6" in length and 4.7 " in width. They fit perfectly on a 7" by 5" canvas. I attached the stencils with painter's tape and they held secure. I bought these specifically for two senior citizens I am a companion to. They enjoyed the new experience and as you can see from the pictures they turned out nicely. The ladies were delighted. All the stencils are different and all very cute. They are sturdy. We are planning to make some cards as well. I can't tell you how much fun these stencils are. I will try the round ones next.
