These were very easy to install, although it took a little over an hour to do so. They come in 20 long strips but they are easy to cut to size with wire-cutters or scissors. (I used some sharp scissors.) Since each vent slat is a different size, I found it easiest to cut a little bit larger than needed, then fine cut till they fit exactly. On my car (2019 Hyundai Elantra GT), if i cut them to fit behind the trim to slide up and down when opening or closing the vent, I couldn't really close the vent very well so I had to be content with fitting them to the visible portion of the slat. I also had to leave a bit of room on the directional control (side-to-side) slat for the slider to function. If you are comfortable not using the directional control, you could certainly cover more of that slat. I also put them on the back seat vents and had about nine or ten strips left over. Overall, I am extremely pleased. It's nothing more than a decoration but it does add a bit more style to the interior of my car and, as you can see in the photos, the vent covers match the OEM trim perfectly. I love these! I had been eyeballing them since I bought my car 3 years ago (yes it took me that long to buy them, don't be like me!). I bought pink windshield wipers the other day then decided I needed to upgrade the pink inside my car because it was a baby pink so I finally decided to buy these among other things! As you can see, they are super cute! It was a slight pain in the *** to put them on the first two vents but then I took scissors and separated the pieces some before installing. Looked amazing at first . However after 40 days , This product started fading in color . Luckily I had enough left over to redo it . When the new ones start fading , I probably will not buy again . It reminds me of a quick temporary fix . Doesn’t stay the same color after 40 days

They work exactly as described. They only problem for me is that I can’t put them on the middle vent bar because then I can’t aim the vent. So I just skipped that one and they still look good, imo.
