I like that I have both the brush and the plunger that matches the container that holds the brushes and the plunger are easy to clean and wipe down. I bought two for both of my bathrooms that they would match. The media could not be loaded. First thing, this is not a two pack of the item. You are not going to get two holders with two plungers and toothbrushes. Two pack means one brush and one plunger and one holder. This changes math quite a bit. They say $25 item I would probably be content with it. But given that it is considered as it stands for $50 I'm going to end up returning this. First, for the compliments, it assembles pretty easily. It looks nice. The tools drop in to the base easily. My quibbles. If you watch the video you can see that the brush is a bit top-heavy. Which means that if you are not very gentle and methodical about placing it it will tip over. The intention of getting this was to prevent our toddler from getting into the utensils. I think if she barely touches this it's going to tip backwards and expose that dirty end. Next, the base doesn't come out at all. Which means that as this accumulates grime overtime it's not going to be easy to clean. We will have to put the whole base in the bathtub or the sink and wash it as a whole. Finally, the joints were the stamped aluminum seats into the plastic are not sealed. Which means you're going to get mildew into those cracks and you will not be able to clean them. I'm sure for some people this could be a perfectly adequate product. But for us it just doesn't quite solve the problems we need, it's not been through the design review times, and the price is a bit steep for the product we would say. ... show more

The thread of the toilet plunger handle doesn't properly fit with the plunger itself. The plunger thread is made of rubber so when the ill-fitted handle tries to thread with the rubber plunger head, the threading rips and shreds and never anchors. So then you're left with a handle that's not locked into the plunger head at all and will disconnect with even the slightest pull. Who designs thread made of rubber and then has it not even fit properly with the handle thread? What a waste of time, yes, I'm very frustrated. ... show more

We have continual problems with our WC’s and I was really sick of the older set I had. It just made me feel angry seeing it, so one afternoon I just threw out both pieces and looked for something sturdy, with a holder, that wouldn’t be such an eyesore in the bathroom. This is a n attractive set, if these things can ever be attractive (ha). I noticed another review with a complaint that it’s not authentic stainless Stell—well, of course, it’s not stainless steel. It’s only ~$30. I’m not sure I’d want stainless steel anyway, as that might be too heavy to pick up from such a tight space and it would certainly cost a lot more. So yes, it’s plastic, and while I wish it was recycled plastic, I’m okay with that.it is a big improvement on what it replaced, and I like that both pieces are side by side. My only real complaint is that the plunger isn’t the one pictured, and we really NEED an effective plunger. Mine doesn’t have the inner cup or neck, whatever one would call it. Mine is just flat, bell shaped, and as far as suction, it doesn’t have as much as it can need sometimes. I will probably replace that as often as we use it. The plunger I got also does not latch in the frame (holder), so it just sits flat against the bottom of the holder. I’d prefer it be able to hang from the frame, like the brush does, so that if it does get used, it’s at least getting some air circulation to dry it out afterward. These things have the potential to grow lots of nasty microbes if they’re not throughly disinfected after each use, and it’s not ideal to have it sitting in a small puddle anyway. The lack of suction power is the more serious issue, though. I really do need this thing to be ready in a hurry to do an important job. It seems like this is not the piece that was originally supposed to be part of this set. A plunger itself isn’t that much, and the set looks good. Pros: it’s an attractive set that looks almost like a small appliance; size is good; both pieces are side by side. I do t have to actually see the tools. Cons: the plunger isn’t the one pictured; doesn’t hang from the frame, and is lacking the inner neck of the plunger. It’s still a major visual improvement to what it replaced.
