  • Does what it says it will do
Pattern Name: Marble
Drys instantly, no more wet towel in my kitchen

  • Love these!
Pattern Name: Marble
These were a great value. They are very absorbent and work great. They are very attractive as well. They do get stains but I just spray with Clorox bleach spray and the stains are gone. So much better than the fabric mats.

  • Absorbs water very well but stains easily
Pattern Name: Marble
I'm using this mat to replace a clunky dish strainer and plastic catch tray underneath, on my countertop. I love the look of it and it does an amazing job of absorbing the water. The anti-slip mat does keep it from sliding around. The only drawback that I've experienced so far is that it stains easily and even though the package includes a small piece of sandpaper to sand away stains, I find that sanding it doesn't really work that well. Perhaps I'm not putting enough "elbow grease" into it. Even still, with all the stains this mat is better for my situation than a bulky strainer and plastic mat underneath. Note - I ordered two of these; the other one is a different model from a separate seller and the experience and review of the other product is exactly the same as this one. ... show more

  • Great price on a two-pack of versatile & practical stone drying mats; light & so EZ to use!
Pattern Name: Marble
I've heard so many great things about drying mats for the kitchen or bath that are made of diatomaceous earth. But this is my first time trying one. Well, two, actually. I was happy to see this two-pack at such a reasonable price. Many single mats are priced about the same as two of these... I suppose these could be considered as small, but I don't have a lot of counter space in my kitchen, so I think they are actually a good size. Since I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, I wasn't sure if I would be using them together, or finding a separate spot/use for each one. I found them to be surprisingly light-weight but they seem pretty sturdy. It just took a few minutes to wipe them off with a damp towel to get rid of the chalky residue and they were ready to use. I made room for them and laid them side them out side by side on the counter to one side of the sink. I'm not sure they'll stay there, but for now I really like how well the handle the overflow from my dish drainer. They really do absorb water very quickly and help keep the counter looking neat. They are a rather bright white with faint marbling. Right now they look great, but according to the description, they are easily stained. Just looking at the surface and feeling how porous it is, I can very readily believe that. For this reason, I decided not to use one as a trivet for a heat-proof mat for baking dishes or under my pet's food dishes. So far, all I've needed to do is rinse them briefly and let them dry. The mats did come with two pieces of sandpaper for getting rid of stains when they occur. I'm very happy with these stone drying mats and I'm glad I finally got a chance to try them. Not that I have seen how versatile they can be, as well as how practical, I will definitely be buying more. I think this set is a really good deal at the current price. I definitely want one for each bathroom counter and I'll look for grey ones for my dog's food and water bowls (so stains won't matter so much). These stone drying mats arrived in perfect condition and were packed a sturdy box and were well protected with styrofoam. ... show more

  • Great
Pattern Name: Marble
I like these. I placed one under my dish rack to collect the water as it does indeed dry faster than the original basin that came with the rack. It can stain a little bit, but then you just use sandpaper (included) to sand it off. It takes just a few seconds if you do it semi-regularly. And personally, I like the scent these pads have -- they smell like vanilla ice cream to me. ... show more

  • Wonderful
Pattern Name: Marble
These are awesome. They absorb water quickly, stay in place and work exactly as described. The only con is they look great, until you accidentally get some smoothie or whatever else on it. They come with sand paper to help clean them up, so I’ll have to try that.

  • Nice marble print, really bad anti slip pads, works well for intended purpose
Pattern Name: Marble
These are the perfect size for the spaces I wanted them for, one under my cats water fountain in my bathroom, and one on my kitchen counter next to my sink for hand wash items, or setting things on after rinsing before loading into the dishwasher etc. I love the white marble design and they are quite nice looking for most any decor. You could place them side by side to have a large dish draining area, or use them in separate locations as I have chosen to do. They feel solid and decently made especially for the cost for a 2 pack. They work as a diatomaceous earth stone mat should. I want to take this opportunity for anyone unfamiliar with diatomaceous earth mats to say that they are not magic (although watching the water "disappear" can be mesmerizing and magical lol) and I have seen reviews where people film themselves dumping whole cups of water on diatomaceous earth mats and saying they don't work because they aren't dry by the end of a 16 second video. So long as you understand the usage and limitations and have realistic expectations, I believe you will be pleased with this two pack... However, the one disappointment in this two pack of drying mats, and my reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they come with anti slip mats for underneath, and my issue is with these anti slip mats. They resemble the mats that go under a carpet to keep it from slipping around, except VERY thin, sticky, and poorly made. They stuck to each other, to the Styrofoam protecting the diatomaceous mats for shipping, and when trying to peel them off the Styrofoam, it was a huge mess because it acted as if it was glued to the Styrofoam, causing a bunch of tiny flakes of Styrofoam to rain down as I separated them. The rubber mats would not let go of the Styrofoam that stuck to them and as I write this, there is still Styrofoam stuck between the rubber grifs on the mats as I finally gave up. The rubber anti slip mats could not be any cheaper or poorly made. You would be far better off to buy a small roll of the stuff with a rubbery grid used to line drawers or place under carpets from the dollar store because it would be dozens of times more improved than whatever the garbage anti slip mats that were included are. It's really a shame because it cheapens the otherwise wonderful quality of these great stone mats. ... show more
