We have a small unlit pantry at the end of our washer and dryer area that had no wired light when the house was built. Creepy to say the least, like a cave. I tried a couple of LED closet lights that were really weak that used AAA batteries. The batteries didn't last very long and the light was poor and degraded way too soon. And I had 2 of them in the closet. This closet light is perfect and uses AA batteries and this thing throws lots of light. It came in a 2 pack so I thought good. I put the first one in and didn't need the second light. It is motion activated - go in and it's on, go out and it turns off. Perfect. These started dimming sooner than I expected on brand new batteries but when you first put new ones in, it’s very bright and does the job. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we have them on motion sensor mode and it’s constantly turning on and off. These have nice light, not as bright as I would like them, and only 1 light setting. super easy to install which I appreciated. They are very sensitive to movement so my cats always light the area from their hyjinx so it is almost always on so I had to change the batteries (6 AA) twice in 1 week. Yikes! Definitely good for a closed closet but not for a low light area that you pass through often throughout the day. ... show more

This is a gamr changer. I needed light in my closet. I WAS using the little push lights from the dollar tree. They were ok but I had 3 of them and it still was enough light. This was perfect. I installed it at the top and it lit up my whole closet. Don't judge my closet y'all. Now that i can see, i may rearrange it LOL. It does take 6 AA batteries but i was using 9 AAA batteries in the small lights. I saw another model that took D batteries. No thank you. I wish I thought of this YEARS ago. ... show more

One of them works fine, the other one doesn't even hold batteries (fall out of place when I put them in) and is basically useless. Leads me to believe it is only a matter of time before the one that works has the same issue.
