However, the listing, the box, and the instructions to some extent, are all needed to eventually figure out how to wear the thing. when you open the box, there are 4 pieces: 2 each of the strap and 2 each of the compression pad. the listing used to have the brand name on the outside so it was a no-brainer to figure out which side was out. but all images have a blue side and a black side (which is actually nicer than having the logo stand out). At the ends of each pad are 2 rectangular plastic pieces to slip the strap through. I decided to put the strap through such that i could peel it open and adjust both or either side to tighten because (after several tries) I had to pretty much completely overlap each of the straps to make it snug enough. So, even if you have more svelte arms or have more strongly muscled arms (not "Popeye the sailor man" forearms as that kind of definition might be a bit much for this item), these things will likely work since they stretch and can completely overlap. the straps have a soft textured material that sticks to the "hook" on the end tabs when the tabs fold over the side of the rectangular pieces. You may want to put a small piece of tape at the very edge of the hook tab so you can easily pull back the hook to adjust until you figure out how the thing best works for you. all the literature refers to tennis elbow (outside elbow pain), but mentions that golfer's elbow (inside elbow pain) requires you to wear the pad on the inside rather than the outside. I was really happy to see that the listing shows where to put the pad for tennis elbow. Unfortunately, the location shown for the inside elbow pain did not work for me, so i've been turning the thing around and around all day. I think i might have found the sweet spot for me: if i hold my arms straight in front of me with my palms ups and bend my arms toward me, i placed the pad such that it faces the other arm about an inch or two above the elbow. I just want it to feel better, so that is what i did. You may have slightly different pain, so the location may not be the same. ... show more

These are fairly typical two-piece elbow straps that I managed to mess up the first two times I tried them on. The straps come separate from the gel pad, so take a close look at the pictures to make sure you don’t put the straps on backwards like I did. There’s a large range of adjustment, so one size should fit most everyone. These are well made and comfortable, and the two pack is nice so you can launder them more frequently. While these aren’t the best straps I’ve ever used, they’re certainly the best value. At the time of this review two were $6 with a 40% off coupon. I can't tell exactly why, but not totally comfortable. Doesn't feel tight. Not heavy. Does provide good compression. Overall good. Would buy again.

Can't tell for a while if it will relieve the pain BUT, it's very nicely made. It's very comfortable as well. Material doesn't dig into the arm at all. Velcro makes it adjustable and I have a smaller arm and it fits down to my size. It's nice that (2) come in the package as well.

Comfortable and gives some welcome support. Straps leave a lot of room for adjustment. Inexpensive. Pay attention to the picture when putting the straps on. It's a bit fiddly to get right.
