Ordered this to use with my blink outdoor gen 3. Quality of material does not feel the best, seems like cheap plastic that will not hold up to the bright Cali sun but could be wrong. The blink outdoor camera slips in pretty smooth. The front lip cover attaches to the front of the case. Mounting is strait forward just like the blink mounting hardware. The mounts that come with the Blink cameras are not solid. Mine actually had broke so that is why I got this. It does seem a little expensive for what it is, but considering the cost of the camera, makes sense to protect it. It is quite a bit bigger than the regular blink mount and sticks out further, but so much more durable and sturdy. Seriously, forget the terrible and useless mount that comes with Blink, this is much better. Overall, a nice solid mount. I hope this review was helpful! ... show more

The outdoor protective case is well weather sealed and are really 'must haves' for cameras fully exposed to the elements. The case also allows for USB plugs to be plugged to the rear without exposing the connectors to rain or water intrusion. This is a great way to protect the USB connector if you have the ability to plug the camera into an outlet or use a solar panel for power. The mounting bracket offers better range of motion than the included bracket, which is good for tricky outdoor locations. Overall, very nice upgrade. ... show more

My yard people destroyed one of my camera mounts with a chainsaw. I got this as a replacement and I have nothing but good things to say about it. This is actually more weatherproof and water resistant than the stock camera mount that came with the blink system. When the yard people chops through the previous camera mount we discovered that we had a lot of water leakage in the back and it was causing corrosion. These seem to be much more water friendly than the stock mount that came with my camera. These are very easy to install we drilled them into a tree and have them pointed at the back entrances to my house. They're easy to point and get directed and it's also easy to take the camera down to replace the battery when I need to. ... show more

I only get Vine items that I plan to use personally and I do a fair review based on my assessment and use of the product. I leave 1 star up to 5 stars if I really like the product and didn't find any issues with it. These Blink camera mounts are pretty good quality. It is about what you would expect for the price. Most of the product is plastic. The mounts are far better than what the Blink cameras originally came with. They actually hold the camera strongly in place and you won't have any fear of them getting knocked off. The only thing that I can see being an issue is that the cameras are hard to remove when they are in the cases. I hope these Blink camera mounts lasts me a long time, but I will update my review should I have any trouble with it in the future.
