I bought this item in an effort to watch some programs on my Scepter 1440p 165hz through my iPhone until my PC build is complete, it’s a complete waste of money it does not work and doesn’t allow video to be loaded and played I tried it on 2 different monitors with 2 different HDMIs cables both times it block the videos from loading. I also tried to use it it’s Amazon Prime, Peacock, Movies anywhere none worked or loaded the videos. Steer clear from this product. ... show more

    • Only Works when plugged into charger

The adapter is correct and fits for the iphone (not usb-c) however it only works when you have it plugged in to the charger also. So in order for the adapter to function and display whats on your iphone, you have to plug it into your phone, plug a charger into the adapter and then plug it into the outlet. You dont have to install anything, no software no zip files, nada. But hey, it works. Sucks that it has to be with a charger, but it works ... show more

    • Not really durable with “active use”
The connectors work “right out the box,” but not very durable in an everyday/active work environments. Use: husband listens to books while working—over extended lengths of time. The iPhone is in his shirt pocket and wire connectors just don’t hold up with “active use.” (FYI wireless earbuds don’t have desired battery life) ... show more

    • Adapter Did Not Work
I use ear buds for listening to books on my iPhone. My new iPhone 13 required an adaptor for the ear buds to work. This product looked like a great possibility ... a set of 2 for around $9. However, the 35 mm cable would not fit tight into the adaptor. Consequently the cable kept coming loose, and the sound would completely turn off, or would go to an impossibly low volume to hear. You had to jiggle the cable connection to get it to work again. I tried both adaptors with two different sets of ear buds. It happened with both adaptors. I returned these and purchased the Apple Lightening to 35mm jack adaptor. The plug snaps in tightly and there is no problem. It was a little of $7 for one Apple adaptor. Perhaps if I would have used a strong tape to hold the 35 mm cable into the adaptor, it would have worked, but that seemed absurd. I decided to just buy a better adaptor. ... show more
