I ordered this oil dispenser specifically for the spray action. I have oil dispenser bottles already, but I wanted an oil sprayer. I've wanted to try the spray oil cans sold at the store, but I couldn't justify spending the $5.00 and then throwing the can into the landfill. This product solves those issues. The spray function works as advertised, and releases wide, fine mist of oil. Some reviewers have stated that the oil came out in a stream. To prevent that happening, push down quickly and firmly on the spray pump to achieve a fine mist. This sprayer is easy to fill and easy to use. It's not hard to clean for initial use. I washed the handle and the glass body in the top rack of the dishwasher and the plastic tube in the flatware caddie of the dishwasher. They came out clean and like new. I can't say how hard this item is to clean after it has been full of oil. That said, I'm not sure how often it would need cleaning - perhaps only infrequently or when changing the type of oil in the jar. So far I have used this to spray my wok, spray a bowl for proofing bread, and spray frying pans. I plan to use this to spray oil on salad for oil & vinegar dressing, spray homemade french fried potatoes for the air fryer or oven, spray meat for the BBQ grill, and more. I love the control of being able to apply a light mist of oil for all of these cooking applications. The retail price at the time of this review is $9.99, and it is currently the best deal on Amazon for this item. This is a great price considering the spray cans of organic oil are almost $5.00 each. This item should pay for itself very quickly. If you do a lot of cooking and want more control over your oil portions or are just tired of buying high priced cans of spray oil, you'll love this product. I recommend. ... show more

We like to make French Fries in the oven. This spray bottle should make it a lot easier to lightly coat the potatoes. I have used it to spray a cast iron pan and I plan to try it when I make bread to spray the bowl before placing the dough to proof, and to coat the top of the dough. I use olive oil in almost all of my cooking so I buy it in the biggest bottles, but I also over-pour when 'drizzling' over something because it's so easy to do with the big bottles. This product has been SO helpful! I absolutely love that I can choose to either spray some oil or drizzle oil with this bottle. The spray comes out very nicely - it's a strong amount in a decently wide pattern. It only takes two or three sprays to cover an entire large tray. To drizzle, you just open the pour spout and you have a convenient place to pour from. It seems like hyperbole, but it has made a difference in some of my cooking. I have one small concern - I can feel the plastic handle bending a little when I spray and I wonder how long it will be before the handle breaks. ... show more

I already have an oil sprayer, but it’s a different style where you push directly down on the cap to make it spray. I like having a sprayer so much that I thought I would get another one so I could have olive oil in one and canola oil in the other. I was drawn to this one because the advertisement states that it not only sprays, but you can also pour from it as well. Unfortunately, this sprayer was somewhat disappointing. It pours just fine, but when you spray the olive oil, it is less of a spray and closer to a stream that doesn’t reach out very far. This olive oil dispenser is a game changer. It allows you to choose between spraying oil or dispense oil the way you normally would by pouring it. The spray feature is awesome because it will save you a ton of money by not having to purchase separate oil spray from that store that barely has anything in it. The bottle is glass which is nice. When I first put the top on I was skeptical because of the way the hose bends to the bottom, outside edge of the bottle. So, I out a small amount of oil into the bottle to see how well the spray feature would do with little oil in the bottle. To my surprise, it still worked really well. I have only been using this for a few days so can't speak to the longevity of the product and whether or not olive oil will build up or clog the spray functionality. At first use, however, I think this is worth 5 stars and I highly recommend this dual functional oil dispenser. ... show more

I love this kitchen tool and it quickly replaced my old oil cruet next to the stove. It is nicely designed and it is so cool that I can either spray or pour from the same container/dispenser. The spray is even and small and does not drip or splash unevenly. The small latch in the top of the lid allows you to quickly change to pouring instead of spray and allows you to measure or eyeball the amount of oil you use. I was concerned that it would drip or get greasy and sticky but it has not done that and remains clear and clean.
