It is an inexpensive replacement to my oem key dongle. It would be nice if it came with instructions, although it isn’t too complicated. Another reviewer mentioned that you need to make sure to put the transponder chip from your old fob into the new one or the car won’t start. This is correct. It’s a bit of a process to get that out of the old fob because it is (at least mine was) glued into the slot for the chip. To get at it required that I destroy my old fob (it was already broken so it needed to happen anyway, but it’s a bit concerning when you have to do it. ) I recommend to look up a tutorial on YouTube to know what it is you are looking for. All in all, it’s a very inexpensive fix at $7 as long as you can get everything moved over with out breaking the expensive original pieces. I hope it will be durable and last me a while, but time will tell. ... show more

Yesss! Night and day. It fit perfectly and looks brand new. Love that it comes with the logo and sticker. The best part is that you don’t have to get the key cut. It looks more durable than the factory because of the reinforcement for the key placement that you screw to secure. Great value.

The screw hole that hold the metal part of the key in place stripped out on the first turn. The fob never would click shut all the way either. Key fell apart today, have to hold it together at the end for it to not come apart when turning.

This looks of great quality. I have no complaints regarding the fact that this seems to be a great one-to-one copy of the Toyota key fob. The only hiccup is that there is no clear way to remove the key really from the original Toyota key fob other than breaking it apart hoping that it will fit in the replacement. Great replacement that looks and feels better than the OEM key fob. No instructions included. but people of DIY videos to show you how. Just make sure to transfer the small black transponder chip to the new FOB or your car won't start and your good to go. Took less than 5 minutes to put key and transponder in new FOB. ... show more

I wanted this to be a positive review but unfortunately, after only a month, this casing kept popping open and never snapped together well. The plastic part that holds the blade in place isn't well made and turning the key in the ignition breaks the part due to stress placed on the part which is weak plastic. I took the blade out of the case and will now use it as fob casing only. Great idea but cheaply made and not durable. ... show more

The key housing is not durable at all. The force it takes to turn the key in the ignition has made the covers come apart on both of the units I purchased. The small screw that holds the key shaft to the body is not strong enough to support itself. Do yourself a favor and get the type with the uncut key that is glued in. You still have to move over the electronics and the transponder but they are much more durable. Too bad, I wanted this to work. ... show more
