I found a squeegee at the Dollar Tree ($1.25 compared to $4 and up online) that worked just fine. I used this for a wallpaper project and it did it's job. Occasionally I did have to twist it back in place or the blade would fall out, as I used it more I noticed when it was getting loose to twist it back in before it fell out.
