The pack I ordered was 31 gauge and only 6mm, so the smaller needle head is great for repeated vial punctures and less painful injections. Individually wrapped is great for helping keep the vial sterile. Only going up to 0.5 mL/cc (50 units) instead of a whole 1 mL/cc makes it easier to measure small doses, and that's probably the best and most unique part about the pack. ... show more

I actually purchased these to extract and inject the remaining medicine out of my saxenda pen. The medicine is so expensive, it's bad to waste any. Even when a pen is "depleted', I was able to extract about 15 units out of one pen. I save up 3 depleted pens in the refrigerator, and extract about 45 units of saxenda (15units x 3). Per my calculations, the regular 3.0 daily ml injection of saxenda works out to about 50 units in a diabetic pen. So, with 3 pens, I get slightly less than 1 full injection. That's perfectly fine for me. Knowing these needs are thin, I carefully extract the fluid, then inject it into myself. These needles are painful as they do not insert easily under the skin. You have to push extra hard and We feel resistance instead of the needle gliding into the skin.
