For the most part it's a nice set. I took off a star, because one was broken and due to no list of the crystals contained in the pack. No crystal list or explanation of them is why I only gave it two stars for a beginner. I think that even if the company doesn't want to give any particular information about each crystal, a list of the crystals contained within the box should be a given.
