  • Using proper cup types and size makes all the difference
Size: FUPA #12 Pyrex Twin Pack w/ Ti Cover
As a hobby welder, I often play with setting, controlled arc height, different types and sizes of tungstens, and of course different types of metal and thicknesses. Recently, I had purchased a size #16 alumina cup and started an art project on stainless. The gas coverage allowed me to control my temps and get the colors that I wanted easily. The only drawback was views were obstructed. So, after seeing the Furic Pyrex cups being used with views afford by looking through the cup, I knew I had to have one. Upon receiving my new Furic Pyrex cups (#12, #14 and #16), I immediately started to the TIG table and throwing down beautiful beads on a piece of stainless. Wow, what a difference it made to be able to see my work in progress through the cups. I tried out all three sizes and found my neck not near as tired due to not having to lean over as much,. The price is a bit high, but if you can swing the cost, it is worth the expense. Would I recommend to my friends? Yes, in a heat beat. Will I by more of the Furic product line? Yes, I will complete my set as the year goes by. Bottom line, if you want a great way to get the gas coverage you need to lay down some beautiful beads that you need to see through the cups you use, I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

  • Quality
Size: FUPA #12 Ceramic Twin Pack
Ever since I tried these furick products, they've been a necessity for my type 20 torch at work and type 17 torch at home, of course with the proper adapters. The fupa 12 is nothing short of the best of the best. Absolute must have for any welder be it just a hobby or career. Gas coverage is outstanding, the tungsten stick out it allows is incredibly helpful for the tight spots. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and will be coming back for them as long as they're being sold. ... show more

  • Genuine, and a game changer
Size: Jazzy #10 Ceramic Twin Pack
Being new to the TIG process, I have seen so many videos that speak highly of Furick cups. I have no where near mastered the TIG process, but these cups are making the task far easier. Having only spent a couple of months TIG welding, I had reached the point where my welds were not embarrassing to show others. I certainly won't say that they look like some of the stuff you see on the internet. What I can say is that a simple change of cups (and the CFH, amperage, etc that accompanies this size cup) has almost instantly improved the appearance of my welds. Some will say that in many cases a large TIG cup (these are #10) is a waste of shielding gas, and perhaps they are, but for a hobby welder, gas consumption isn't much of a priority. All said, these are totally worth the price. They are my "Go to" cup now. Believe the hype. They work. ... show more

  • Must have for the aesthetic tig welder
Size: FUPA #12 Ceramic Twin Pack
I’ve been involved in the industry for 25 Years and have tried most set-ups. I’ve been fortunate to be involved with some of the best guys in the business that taught me a whole bunch of good stuff. From Sheetmetal to exotic alloys and chassis work, gas lenses are my preferred set up. This product from Michael Furick in North Carolina, is worth every penny. Don’t even hesitate for a second, buy a pair and See why every is rocking these cups. They broaden the heat range, keep the color, allow for a long arm stick out previously unheard of and come in a few different configurations. I called Michael on the phone to ask him which set up is for what. Unless your on inconnell and ti, the 12 is just fine. Stainless and alloys can benefit from the larger Moose Knuckle and BBW cups. Clear glass cups are for line of sight only and cool insta photos and are recommended as well. Highly recommend 👍👍 5 Stars If you have questions call Michael (the owner) and ask him yourself, he’s a super down to earth guy that will happily answer your questions and point you in the right direction regarding his products. ... show more
