I purchased this 3 pack of milk crates specifically for storing and safely transporting my 20# propane cylinders. Due to the crates being made of plastic, the sides are able to flex to keep a snug fit with the cylinder, even with a cover over the cylinder. Also, the plastic will minimize any damage to the cylinders from rubbing during transport. I consider these to be a perfect fit for my 20# Propane Cylinders! 5 stars!!!!! Love these! ♥ ♥ Growing up my best friend's dad was a milk man. My friend was a late addition to her family, so her parents were a bit older. By the time we were in school her dad was no longer delivering to homes as he once did. The only milk he delivered in similar crates before switching to wire crates, was to stores & schools. That being said, my friend & I carried crates like this full of milk cartons into our school (that had a lot of stairs) each week. I had several crates from my friend that I used in my room as a kid and into my late teens. I know what a quality crate feels like. Most crates sold in stores at 'back-to-school time' these days do NOT rival what I had growing up. THESE DO! I'm super pleased with these. These are true "milk crates" and not "dorm room look-alikes". I ordered these for work where they're kept in a pole barn to hold separate types of plates for a John Deere Planter. These will definitely hold up to the wear & tear of being in the pole-barn, but allow multiple crew members to be able to see what is in each one and to easily be able to grab a crate by the handle without worry it will break, despite them being on top of a 6' metal cabinet. **PLEASE NOTE: The seller has taken care to spell out that these are sold in a set of 3, but in only ONE COLOR (despite the photo) and to mention the cost of shipping. While the cost of shipping may sound high, please keep in mind these are bulky (not collapsible) and they have a bit of weight to them. Milk crates are so useful, but my problem with other brands is they would crack or break. These milk crates are so durable, they are going to last for decades. I use thein my closet to corral things, and one on my bike rack for on the go shopping. I love the colors, they are so vibrant. I thought I was going to receive three different colors as the photo showed. After receiving all three dark blue ones I noticed on the headline that they would be all blue. The crates are good though.

    • Blue is a pale pastel blue, not what is shown in the picture or in the reviews.
Ordered these blue crates based on the blue in the picture. What I received is not even close. The blue I received is a pale pastel blue color. The seller really needs to update the listing with an accurate picture.
