I appreciate the ability to warm up meals in the microwave & the fact that they’re dishwasher-safe too. I’ve warmed up meals in the oven too using between 20-250 degree heat for 15 minutes. Customer Service Team was very professional & courteous when I gas an issue with a broken cereal bowl due to transit issues. They responded quickly & sent two (2) cereal bowls instead of just one. This dish set is wonderful! They are very unique in the way they look with their gradient color and so beautiful. The plates and bowls are the perfect size. The plates generous sized and the bowls are a perfect shape and size for cereal, soup or a salad. They seem to be very sturdy with some weight to them but not too heavy. I have had dishes in the past that were so heavy that I thought they would bring my cabinets down. They make a gorgeous place setting on your table. They are suitable for a fancy dinner party or just a casual meal. The price does seem to be a little high, but they are of such good quality that they I would say it’s a very fair price. *Update* Upgrading the review. The seller contacted me after writing this review, acknowledged the trouble contacting them and refunded the purchase. I left one star off because of the hassle, but the product would get a 5-star review outside of this. Before I ordered this, I did see a review posting a picture of the "Please Contact Us" insert for defects or damaged items, "No Return Needed" so I had a level of comfort. Of course, you have to unbox everything to inspect it and there is quite a bit of unboxing for the entire set. Long story short: Email's get immediately returned as undeliverable, 1-800 number goes straight to v-mail and I have not received a call back and I do not have a Facebook account so I'm not going to try that route. Also, of note is I did not find the chipped piece in the plate box or anywhere else, so it looks like it left manufacturing that way. Quality control looks to have dropped the ball. Otherwise, the set is nice, and I like it outside of the defective plate. ... show more
