  • Best way to change flooring!
I ordered this flooring hoping for a good experience because it was the best price option for the color we were wanting. Even though they weren't Amazon prime without free returns, the company has been good to work with. I ordered 2 boxes for my bathroom. I laid it on ceramic tile after using a leveling compound to ensure the grid lines where the grout is wouldn't end up showing through after walking on them. It turned out great and has stuck great. It really looks high end. The gray color is nice and neutral. Not too warm or too cool. Looks good with white. Then, we decided to redo our kitchen floor and back door entryway. The problem here was that I ordered 5 boxes and only received 4. After some back and forth with the company, they agreed to ship another box to me for free; however, since they would arrive too late, I asked for a refund on that box, which they gave me. I'm under a time crunch because I'm just fixing my house so I can sell it. The floor was laid on linoleum and turned out really nice. It's really easy to cut with tin snips and can be picked up and replaced with relative ease (if you can access one edge). I did move my refrigerator across them to get behind it, and that caused a few tiles to move around and gap. That may have been a problem because I did not allow them to set.. I didn't have time to allow them to set, but it's understandable that they might shift a bit in the first hour after you lay them (it was probably only 15 minutes). I did use a roller to apply pressure to them after laying to try to secure the hold. Some pieces that came up due to an uneven floor or from the fridge, I just peeled up slightly and put liquid nails underneath and then held it down with a paint can, just to make sure they could stay down. They have arrows on the back of them, which really do make a difference. If you switch around the direction of the planks, you will be able to tell. I can't really identify what is different about them, but it seems like they reflect light differently from each angle, so some might appear lighter or flatter than another one next to it.. It doesn't look good, but I made some mistakes and left them that way because I figured a few pieces that look off would be OK, as it just adds a slight bit of variation. I filled in gaps that were created due to uneven floor/not square cabinets and walls with gray caulk, and that seemed to work well. ... show more

  • Super Easy to Install & Super Sticky
I used these to cover up some really old peel and stick laminate flooring in our guest room. Our house was built in the 70's, and the existing floor tiles were peeling up. I used some VCT adhesive to re-stick any loose pieces, and then laid these right on top. I applied some VCT adhesive to the ends and corners of these as well, and they have not budged. They were super easy to install, and relatively quick considering I did it by myself. I finished our guest bedroom in about 3 hours. The hardest part was the clean-up. The VCT adhesive is extremely sticky, but I felt it necessary. I was able to move the tiles around a bit and easily peel them up after I'd stuck them down, and the extra adhesive has kept them completely in place. I did have to remove some excess adhesive with some rubbing alcohol afterwards, but overall, these were super easy to do, a great price, and they have really helped to modernize that old bedroom. ... show more

  • Beautiful flooring with additional supplies
Color: Light Oak
The wood grain and color of the vinyl planks are gorgeous however the self adhesives would not stick even after preparing the floor with several cleanings and applying Henry self-stick tile primer. The solution I used is small additional glue (Loctite All Purpose adhesive caulk) smeared evenly on the concrete floor with spatula before applying each plank. Had a few small gaps between the planking due to uneven concrete floor and used vinyl grout to finish. Overall, this product is priced much cheaper than your local Lowe’s or Home Depot even with additional supplies. I Love my floor and saved money. ... show more

  • Good Buy
Color: Beige - 24 sq ft/Pack
First time ever installing floors. However it is very easy as long as you take your time. I started out with one pack for my kitchen to test out. Its pretty duarable so far. There are a couple of marks on some but it actually helps for a more natural look. Its pretty sticky but to make sure i did use tile adhensive which seems to hold them down a little better. *Update finally order my 2nd set im really takin my time for theres no rush to get this done on top i work 40 hrs weekly. My second set i order was actually better than the first one. For some reason it was hard to take the paper off the tiles on my first order but i figure that was normal. Takin off the adhensive on my 2nd order was so much easier like really just roll off. Im not sure if the 1st order went thru sun or heat during travel but yea. Wanted to say that. Overall good buy great to invest at an in exspensive price. ... show more

  • Perfect solution for a rental!
I wanted something to cover the depressingly hideous linoleum in a small half-bath of our rental apartment. I didn’t trust that I would be able to remove them cleanly when we moved, so first I put clear contact paper over the floor. Then I cut and placed these tiles on top of the contact paper. It was time consuming (probably six hours) and I got a bit frustrated at a couple of points, but I think it was quite easy to install, all things considered. It looks fantastic and makes a huge difference in the overall feel of the room. The adhesive is really sticky!! To get it off my hands I sprayed them with olive oil cooking spray and then washed them with soap. It’s been two months since I put them in and so far they have not expanded noticeably or moved. I use a swiffer (very lightly) to clean and they seem to hold up well. ... show more
