I bough these mainly to use with a large Christmas rug in my foyer. The rug is a woven cotton, double-sided rug, so there is no anti-slip backing. This rug would slide any time someone stepped on it, so it was dangerous to use. I bought these hoping, but not really expecting, it would hold the rug in place. It did - no movement whatsoever, even with having a lot of people in and out. When Christmas was over, I took the pad up - they were a little hard to pull off the hardwood floor, but they did not leave any residue at all on my floor and did not damage the floors at all. I thought we were going to have to give up our small rugs in front of stove and sink, and our runners. We are in our 60s now and fear falling, and the rugs 'moved' much too easily whenever we stepped on them. We tried glue gun glue mazes on the back, various 'carpet tapes', nothing worked. But these! These work! We put these on the rugs January 4th, two full weeks ago, and they are secure on the floor. Vacuuming didn't budge them either. I have had small area rugs that continued to move around on our hardwood floor despite having one of those cut-to-size no-slip rug pads underneath. I received these corner adhesive pads over the weekend and easily applied them to those same rugs. It worked like a charm. They don't even budge. I have not tried to move and reposition the rugs yet and it has only been a couple days of use. We will see how long these hold up or if they leave any undesirable residue on my floors. Bought these rug grippers after years of using nonslip rug pads. When my 3 cats get the zoomies, my small area rugs go sliding everywhere! I’ve had to fix rugs daily for years. Finally I had enough and decide to try something new. So glad I did. So easy to install. My rugs don’t move….at all. In fact about a week later I ordered a second set to use on my other area rugs.     • Rug Grippers---- they grip but do they stick?

We purchased some rub grippers. They do a good job gripping to our manufactured flooring. However they peel right off the back of the rug if you try to re-situate the rug position. I would love them if it weren't for that. Maybe Crazy Glue them to the carpet back??? I dont' know what the answer is. Still looking for that great product. I have a carpet by my front door that we put rug tape on and it was moving constantly. We put these on the rug and first thing that happened they stuck to floor and came right off rug. We flipped entire rug over put them back on---- and made sure rug was where we wanted it then put back on the floor. I'd buy again but I am not so sure they won't damage the floor a bit. At this point not slipping and falling is more important. They do a good job gripping the floor. ... show more

These are EVERYTHING you could ever want. We have a 6 person household with a teenager, 3 under 6 years old and 2 cats. One child is constantly on a hoverboard riding around and we have a 1.5yo who’s toddling and tripping/slipping over everything! My middle boys are constantly horseplaying and chasing each other. ANYWAY…. These grips have stood the test of time for months now! We have a long runner rug on our hardwood floor… we only put one grippy at each corner (I was sure we would need to put 1-2 in the middle and/or replace the corner grips very often)… nope. These babies are solid! We have had zero issues with slips or feet catching loose rug. No issues with the hoverboard or heavy traffic of our family and company. It has been a few months and we haven’t had to replace one of them. I also pulled the rug up a few times to wash the floors and they go right back down perfectly.     • Can be used with fuzzy rugs - but other solutions may be better for rugs over carpet

I hoped these tape stickers would solve two problems for me - 1) keep an area rug from shifting when placed over wall-to-wall carpet, and 2) keep fuzzy bathroom rugs from sliding on tile. For rug-over-carpet, I found a better solution (upholstery twist pins 0.5 inch deep). For my fuzzy bathroom rugs, these work great. However, having read that the stickers can be washed & reused, and I knowing I'll want to wash the bathroom rugs occasionally - I pulled up the rug, pulled off the stickers, and washed them. The floor side cleaned off easily & completely, but the fuzzy side needed a lot more work & never got fully smooth again. So I left it to dry overnight & to my surprise, both sides were sticky enough to use again. So the good news is that these stickers work with fuzzy rugs & even with those rugs you should be able to clean & reuse the stickers at least a couple of times. ... show more

I frankly can't get over how well these work. I had a favorite rug which had shed all of its backing in the washer and dryer. It slipped all the time, but now, thanks to these rug grippers, it stays in place no matter what. I would highly recommend them. A lot less expensive than buying a new rug! :) ... show more
