Recently I added LED headlights to my zero turn mower and needed to add an inline fuse to protect the circuitry. Since this is a mower and I power wash it to keep it clean, I wanted a more weatherproof option. This inline fuse was exactly what was needed. I just had to snip the wire in the middle and connect it inline with the power circuit feeding the light switch I installed. I used weatherproof heatshrink connectors for the connections. It uses one of the mini-fuses (the 15amp fuse was included) and is small enough to easily tuck away under the mower control panel. The cover slips on tightly over the fuse to keep the weather out. I wouldn't say it's waterproof but is defintely sufficient for what I need. ... show more

The wire is a continuous loop that you can cut anywhere for a perfect fit. The wire insulation is typical thermoplastic, I would have preferred silicon, but works fine.
