Got this to keep on my semi for when I need to do repairs higher up. Used it today to apply sealant on the roof my trailer. Extended to about 14 feet and 3 feet away from the trailer at the base, it bowed quite a bit to the point that when I was 10ft up it felt like I was vertical and could easily fall backwards. Definitely doesn't compare to a standard rigid ladder, especially if you need to make regular use of one. But the ease of storage makes it ok if you only rarely need to use a ladder. ... show more

I got it today (28Feb2022) and I wanted to see for myself, if what other said was true when fully extended. What others have said, is TRUE and I would ONLY use this ladder once in a while, because it bows when it's fully extended (15.5ft ladder)! If you are a professional or use it often, I would buy a professional grade telescoping ladder from any home improvement store. Today (01March2022), I took a picture of what I was describing the previous day. I weigh 175lbs and I would be very worried if I weighed over 200lbs. I plan on using this once in a while for light use. Anything longer, I would use my extension ladder or my Werner multi-position ladder. Both are a bigger and a pain to get out and use, but much safer to use. ... show more

Its unstable and bend when fully extended. Beware, sometime the ladder get stuck. If you're feets or hands are in between the ladder gap while retracting the ladder. It was hurt like Mother-ducker. The ladder is narrow, making it a little scary to climb. But the worst thing is closing it. I pushed the buttons at the bottom, and the ladder slammed down. I had to push the button at each rung to completely close it, and each it slammed down. This made the ladder hard to balance while closing it. I won't be recommending this ladder. ... show more

I have not used the ladder, but did remove it from the box, and open it part way. I was initially very surprised at how heavy duty, and well manufactured the ladder is. I was thinking this would be a much lighter weight ladder, but this is not a cheapie. The locking button feel solid. The steps very sturdy. The base rubber parts are a very high quality. I love this ladder. I am an older, petite, single lady and have had trouble changing out a filter that is 11 feet above the floor in my living room. Other ladders were cumbersome, heavy, difficult to maneuver, required two people to open and close them and were scary. BUT NOT THIS ONE!
