The ordering through Amazon went the same as usual which is always smooth. I wanted to bring my existing phone into Tello and they gave a pretty good explanation for checking if it would work on Tello. There was zero explanation on installing the SIM card into the phone but I figured it out. The activation process was fairly smooth. Moving (called porting) my existing phone number over to the new company is not easy and I am not finished yet.     • misleading, useless purchase
The whole point of buying a prepaid sim card on amazon is so you can pop it in and have it work. Instead, you need to: 1. Go to their website, enter the code 2. Make an account 3. Enter your name, email, address, phone number 4. Enter your credit card information (they verify so you MUST provide a real one) 5. Reboot your phone, now you have a phone number Someone who buys a prepaid sim to activate probably doesn't have a phone number, why do I need to provide a phone number in order to create a phone number? That's stupid! And the charges show as $0 total because I already purchased a prepaid sim card plan on amazon... why do I have to checkout again, and provide my personal credit card information for a $0 transaction? It seems like they're data harvesting to sell your info. There's NO REASON they need your credit card and a pre existing phone number to activate a sim... ... show more

This is not ready to use. Need to activate and pay and …. Not working. The assistance couldn’t be reached and I waited on the phone. Need to pay to activate and was not reimbursed as written. And anyway not working. So I waisted 18$ !
