I’m just gonna say, my wife loves this bed, however, I think it’s because her side does not freak every time she sits down or turns over, only my side does that. That being said, it’s not bad. It’s elegant and appears sturdy, but I would suggest maybe better slats be used for a king sized bed. I saw other reviews mention the creaking and issues with the slats, but my wife liked it and it was easy to assemble with clear instructions. I may at a later time just switch to wider slats instead of the ones provided just so I’m not worried about falling through with the weight of a king sized mattress and 2 adults and an 85# shepherd on it. Not a bad bed for the price, just may need some adjustments to feel more secure. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Cannot believe others mentioned these issues in their reviews but deemed it tolerable, structural integrity matters! This product has none! No thread inserts, screws too long, without over torquing they begin to puncture through the other side of the wood! The "middle supports" doesn't even have existing holes that line up with the hardware and support leg! I actually opted to keep this versus returning it and opted for a different bed option to accommodate this product , I didn't open to assemble right away because I didn't need the bed or bed frame until the holidays when I had guests coming now I'm sitting here with something that isn't even suitable to support cardboard boxes let alone a king size mattress going to push the issue on a refund regardless of my refund window being closed this is absolute sin to stick people with a product like this ... show more
