Using a 40w diode laser, I got the best results at 100% power and 100mm/sec using Lightburn. I tried to push the limits on detail. The stainless steel disk in the picture is 30mm.

If anyone is hesitant about ordering this based on price, don’t delay and order it! This product works better than I expected. I was nervous about spending the money because I’m new at layering, but I’m glad I did. Dry moly does the job, but based on everything I read, it can cause damage to your machine from the fumes. Also with dry moly, to mark stainless you have to go 5-10 passes to get image to show up and even that is inconsistent which takes up valuable time. With this spray I did two passes and images are super crisp and no dead spots(I did a test run and one pass works, image gets crisper with a second pass). The axe was done with dry moly for the image and Brilliant marking spray for the words. As you can see, the image done with dry moly looks a touch faded. That was after 5 passes, whereas 2nd Place was two passes with the Brilliant marking spray. I’m still getting the hang of doing even coats with the spray as going heavy causes it to have running with the spray, though it doesn’t affect the lasering process, it does waste product. I originally bought the smaller spray can of this Brilliance Laser paint and was so impressed that when I needed more I purchased the larger can. Let me just say this stuff is great! I’m using an Atomstack S20 Pro 20 watt diode laser and it does a great job. The key is to shake the can very well before applying an even cost. I use my heat gun on low to accelerate the drying time. I then use a speed and power setting of 1500 m/m @ 100% power. I found this is the best setting for a 20watt diode laser. I’ve lasered only stainless steel so far and have had excellent results. The picture I’ve attached is an old Yeti tumbler I lasered my woodturning markers mark on. I use that tumbler every day and it goes in the dishwasher. The print is still as dark as the day I lasered it! I will definitely be staying with this product and recommend it highly! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was told this didnt work with diode lasers. I cannot believe how well it did work. This tumbler was made in 30 minutes with a 10w diode. This spray created a better burn, faster and darker than the “suggested marking spray” at half the price of the competition

This stuff works great with my 10w diode. My 5w wouldn't make a mark at all. Very easy to use and dries quickly. Easy to clean off and great results
