My partner and I absolutely LOVE this king sized mattress! It is vacuumed packed and in a box when received and has an outer layer of plastic that encloses the vacuumed packed mattress. As other review said, open mattress on top of platform frame because it is heavy. It fluffed up in a few hours but it did have a smell to it so we followed the instructions and left it untouched for 72 hours. As others have said, it is firm! And we love it! No more back aches! No more side-sleeping him aches! Not as cuddly when sleeping on the back as a softer mattress, but a topper will easily fix that! When looking at mattresses at a physical store previously, the sales person told us that if the memory foam mattress is too firm then you want to walk all over it until it softens up! We are not going to do this because we like the firmness but if you find yourself feeling like it is too firm, this solution makes sense to me because the memory foam does break down. Another thing I appreciate about the mattress is that the outer cover fits the mattress without the sewn creases in the wrong place. It looks perfect. As for the coolness factor... I don't think any mattress out there is cool enough for me. It does seem cooler than my previous mattress which was a hybrid, so maybe this one is cool. RECOMMEND! ... show more

We let it set for the full 72 hrs as instructed to let it fill to the full expansion however it did not quite get to 5 inches but it was close enough. My daughter says its soo comfortable and she loves it. Decent price for this mattress. Over all a great purchase.

I’ve had multiple types of beds at various price points. I did my fair share of research on them too. One thing I have to say, is that most memory foam mattresses just come down to the density of the foam poured to fit your preferences (firmness), and few other things. Which means the heavily marketed brands, you’re paying for just that — marketing. So I chose this mattress which has certified foam, certified fabric, and no fiberglass. The delivery was very quick and the packaging is very compact which is may be one of the reasons why this mattress is so affordable for the quality. The unpacking is easy, and the “new smell” will dissipate soon. The foam bounces into its full shape within 72 hours. The comfort level is really decent. It’s plush but still has a good supportive balance. Moving around isn’t laborious and for a memory foam mattress it doesn’t run too hot. I did put a waterproof cover on top to protect the mattress. Is this a luxury, high-end bed that will give me the best sleep of my life and resolve all my problems? Perhaps not. Does it feel comfortable and supportive for a solid night of sleep? Yes. I bought this mattress a couple months ago and let me just say - wow. It is so comfortable it's almost too good. Getting out of bed is near impossible and my boyfriend and I have a running joke about the consequences of getting in it before bedtime, because a multi-hour nap always occurs. It is cool in the heat, warm in the cold, isn't noisy and doesn't shake the other person awake if you're getting up in the middle of the night. We got our two boys a brand new bunkbed and wanted to keep within our budget with all the necessary additions and accessories. The price of the twin mattresses along with the quality is beyond my expectations. The site we purchased the bunkbed from offered almost the same mattress for double the price!
