    • Gorgeous canoe, came reasonably quickly; no issues
I will update my review once I take it out. I am a middle aged female, 5'3", I can easily lift the canoe alone. The packaging it arrived in made it heavier and awkward, but you will see, once you unwrap it, its a night light canoe. It arrived very well packaged. It is a very, very attractive, well-made looking canoe. The moment i unboxed it, my heart sang and it skyrocketed to my favorite possession. I am enjoying just looking at it in my yard until i take it out. The delivery was very caring. They were careful and friendly. I have never done a "scheduled" delivery before. The status of the delivery just kept saying awaiting schedule or something like that. And then all of a sudden, a week or two later, it said "arriving on" a certain day, and that was the day that it came. I can't be certain they contacted me ahead of time or not, because I am using my husband's amazon account, we are married, its possible they called or emailed him. There were two attractive sturdy frames on either end of the packaging that double as makeshift work horses one could probably use long term as a "stand" so your canoe isn't just tossed anywhere on the ground in the yard. Love my beautiful canoe. Get yourself a bed-extender trailer hitch for 60 bucks along with this and you are all set to hit the water. ... show more
