When it comes to bikes we’ve always bought higher end name brands, but because a 14 inch is such a quick stage for a kid to be in and out of, we wanted to save a few bucks. After lots of searching we decided to try this, and I will say I’m really impressed. If you think of quality in terms of a Walmart bike and name brand (Kink for instance) this bike leans much more on the brand name side. It’s very solid when doing a bounce test, no noises at all. It even held the weight of an adult without being sketchy. It was packaged very well, everything was padded in cardboard and foam, the dropouts (where the wheel goes on) were plugged to prevent bending, and the wheel nuts where protected with plastic caps as well. Assembly was a breeze. All that’s needed is to put on the seat, handle bars, front wheel, pedals, and double check the bolts are snug. If you’re using the training wheels then those too, but they made it easy for you by adding a double nut setup on the back wheel. The wheel is already lined up, tightened on and has the brakes connected, the second bolts are loosened as an option to easily put the training wheels on without messing up the rear wheel configuration. Also, it comes with all the tools needed to setup the bike and even with a pair of soft gloves to keep hands clean. The bike comes with an actual BMX style stem (part that holds the front forks and handle bars together). This is a big improvement of the cheap gooseneck style you’ll find on many other affordable options. We are also a big fan of the brake lever, its design brings it very close to the bars with lots of leverage when pulled making it easy for even the littlest fingers to use. On that note the only thing I’d change would to offer an option without the rear coaster brake and have a cassette option with just a hand brake instead. At a skate park a coaster brake is not ideal. Over all we got a good looking, decent quality BMX bike at a fair price. And to top it off the stickers come off in one piece with little effort if they are not your look.. Way over priced but it is a nice bike. The only problem we hand is that one of the pedals was not drilled out properly. We had to drill it out a bit for the screw to fit.

The media could not be loaded. The left pedal doesn’t fit the spot it’s supposed to go. Not sure why the right fits but the left won’t fit in either side so it’s definitely bigger for some reason. Supposed to give it to my son for his bday. Not a huge deal, I’ll go get a pedal that fits. But that’s a huge disappointment. ... show more

My 6 year olds love them. We bought the pink one and the blue one. So vibrant and looks like a high end seat. Very impressed and can't recommend enough. The red one is a 20" Mongoose bike for my 7 year old.

I barely purchased this as a gift for my Godson about a month ago. He is a 4yr old "very brave little boy" and when I made this purchase I did buy a two or three yr warranty extra. But I was very confident with this purchase because of the brand which is BMX. I know firsthand from hearing young and older boys that BMX is a good/great bike. Durability is one of the main factors that I chose this brand. Anyway I just got back from a vacation thought I'd check on my Godson and how he's enjoying his new bike, because when I gave it to him he was EXCITED, SAID HE WAS THE COOL KID NOW! HIS HAPPY FACE SAID IT ALL! TO MY SHOCK I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH HIS GRANDMOTHER AND SHE TELLS ME HIS BIKE BROKE!!! I SAID 'WHAT'!!! How and when he just got it! She told me something with the pedal it pushed in or something and the chain came off!! I asked if any big kids rode on it etc. She told me 'NO' he's been the only one riding it. I told her to take pictures and that I bought a warranty. What do I do now I guess I have to ship it or what? What an inconvenience for me because the grandmother really doesn't want to deal with it. I'm almost ready to just purchase another bike. Actually two bikes because I wanted to buy one for his older brother who is 9yrs.old. what do I do? I'm shocked because the bike itself was very strong and well made. Great color pretty much put together. Did not need the training wheels he is already a pro at riding this type of bike. Now he's sad. Wish I could just take it to get fixed. But I purchased a warranty. Is there an easy way I can fix this? ... show more
