    • Great cord
I live in an apartment building and the only outlet in my garage is on the ceiling. I also have a chevy volt and needed some way to charge it. You generally don't want to use extension cords with things that can have a higher amp draw and especially that can be drawing power for extended durations of time. Or at least that's what the manufacturers say to avoid being sued by someone who uses a cheap extension cord for something it's not rated for and starts a fire. The chevy volt draws 8 amps on its default charging mode and 12 amps on the higher power mode. So in theory I should be able to use any 15amp extension cord. However, I prefer to play it safe and maybe overdo it a little then be cheap and pay for it later. The wiring in my garage is 20 amp wiring, the breaker is rated for 20 amps and I replaced the outlet with one rated for 20 amps but I still needed something to bridge the gap between my 120volt charger and the outlet. Enter this power cable. It's heavy duty, with a 20 amp rated GFCI, it's a great length, and the connectors are solid. No loosely fitting plugs here, which is important with things that are drawing sustained power load. I charge my vehicle on the 8amp mode only and I've been using this cord to connect the outlet to my vehicle charger for 9 months now and have had no issues. The only times the GFCI has tripped is on really hot days when my garage got really hot and my cars battery cooling systems kicked in. I'm guessing the sudden increase or spike in current draw trips the GFCI. That said, I just reset the GFCI and my care resumes charging as normal. I have checked the cord multiple times all at various points in the charging cycle and all at various spots on the cord and the cord has never gotten anything other than slightly warmer than ambient temperature to the touch. My forehead is probably hotter than this cord ever gets. I've checked where it connects to the outlet, at the gfci, and where it connects to my charger and no real heat. While the manufacturer won't recommend this cord for charging with an EV due to liability, I have had no issues. But I did make sure my wiring in the wall was rated for it first. So if you need a good sturdy cord for your chevy volt or some other application, this is a good one. ... show more

We ordered this for a lamp in a Victorian-style living room. It was cute -- but it was the size of a toy lampshade, if such a thing existed. If you have a really really small lamp that needs a shade, this is great--but if not, you may want to find something larger.

Bright little light. Clip is strong and holds to the stand well. The light can even sit on a flat surface to provide light without clipping to a stand. Easy to click buttons for two different levels of light. Outstanding seller service!(Pro Music Kit Ltd.) Another customer had a mix up on their order and Sellers sent us a replacement light also "just in case" we had received the wrong color light by mistake. Seller explained they were not sure who received the wrong color and were trying to fix the mistake. We could keep both lights even if we received the correct order first. We added extra faux succulents to these arrangements but the planters are very cute and if you're OK with being able to see the floral foam around and under your "succulents" then you won't need the extra plants.

I purchased this product so I can keep my personal hygiene needs in public restrooms and it works great! These covers are made big in size to cover a large area on the toilet seat so my any of my body parts don’t have to touch to those nasty toilets.
