This pick and hook set is fantastic! It arrives in a book like carrying case with a zipper to keep it closed. It has all of the picks and hooks inside, each with a rubber cover on their sharp ends to keep them safe and you from getting stabbed by them when reaching in for one. The picks are quite sharp and are fantastic for getting into tight areas in my car when I have to yank out posts or pick O-rings out of spaces. I have already used this to replace my outer door handles and yank the metal rods out of place as well as to flip up the plastic retaining clips. These hooks and picked worked great with no issues. Overall, fantastic set and I like the rubber covers that keeps them nice and sharp and me from stabbing myself on them when I reach for a different tool. The carrying case is also a nice addition as it keeps them all contained and organized as well. ... show more

So the only reason I knocked a star off is because the larger picks aren't super sharp (see pick) - the points on the large picks don't come to that rubber-piercing sharp you often need. Don't get me wrong, they come to a point, I just will need to hit them a little bit with file to make them truly sharp. The small picks are all plenty sharp and will pierce rubber with ease. Other than that, this is how budget tools should be done. You get a wide variety of picks for the price, and it comes with functional (but budget) case. For picks, this is just great. Really nice they throw in a clip pry tool as well - can't beat that. The build quality is otherwise quite good. The handles are rubberized, grippy, and quite comfortable - a good size to grab on to. The picks are all firm/sturdy enough that they don't fold if you lever them, and they metal is adequately hardened so you can scrape rust out of bolt threads. Overall, still worth it. If the large picks were a tad pointier, it would be an enthusiastic 5 stars. Even so, it's a good set with good variety - a lot of bang for your buck. Even though I'll have to spruce up the tips of the big picks, I would easily get this again. ... show more

The handles are easy to get a good, secure grip on. The shafts are stout and appropriately sized for their function. They come in a good zippered case, which if used, will keep all of these in one place and easily located. These are the type of tools that are are not used on a daily basis, but when needed, definitely make your project easier. The one that I really like having is the o-ring removal tool, a screw driver is tedious and takes longer to do that aspect of the job. A pick set is really nice to have on hand. When a pick tool is what you need it's really nice to have. I will point out the listing describes one of the tools as a nail puller. I wouldn't use it for that. It's more for pulling plastic clips out. The best part about this kit is the grips. The red is hard plastic but the black part is a rubber that is not too hard or too soft. Very comfortable in the hand and very grippy. ... show more

I like that it fit in the hand like the rest of your screwdrivers. I like the feel of them. They feel great in the hand. I did throw out the case. I just put them in my tool box. Eventually, you will experience a situation where you need to manipulate an object in some form or fashion; and a screwdriver won't do it. That's where these come in.... typically, you can find various pick tools but either they are real thin like dental hygienist tools or super short, slippery and unable to perform well in confined spaces. However, these have a screwdriver type of handle with excellent grip and comes in a nice case; that not only keeps them organized but also prevents you from accidentally poking yourself! lol. This is a very nice set of picks. The handles are comfortable to hold. There is quite a variety of sizes and styles for all applications. Comes with a nice carry case to keep all your picks together so not misplace them. It has sizes for the smallest O-ring to the largest radiator hoses.
