  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Very Light
These binoculars are very light and small. They work great for sightseeing or for bird watching.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and Decent Performance for Outdoor Use
These compact binoculars are listed as 10x25, meaning the magnification is supposedly 10x. I compared them with my 8x42 Orion binoculars, and these are about an 8x, not 10x. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as the higher the magnification, the more light you need to see images well; and these are already on the dark side. That’s why I would recommend them for outdoor use (which is probably where most people would use them anyway) and in good sunlight. They still work when it’s cloudy, but they do best with a lot of (sun)light. The field of vision is listed as 5.9°. This is quite narrow, for those not familiar with this spec. For binoculars this compact, it is expected. Just don’t expect miracles and a huge, wide view with these. They come in a small box with a permanently attached neck string. (Calling it anything more than a string would seem to be an exaggeration.) They also come with a really crappy microfiber cloth, so crappy that I discarded it for one of the many I’ve gotten with other purchases. Why anyone would include a cloth that’s of such poor quality is beyond me. The binoculars are very lightweight. The focus mechanisms for both eyepieces and just for the right eye are not overly confidence-inspiring, but they get the job done. I hope they last. If you’re looking for a budget pair of compact and lightweight binoculars that deliver a nice, focused image outdoors, these may be a good pick for you, so long as you’ll be viewing things in plenty of light. The best characteristics of these are their size and weight. If those are not of paramount importance to you, I would recommend you look for something else, as you can find better. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice compact binocs
small, light, rugged and bright. Well, as bright as binocs with this size input otics can be. One imitation is he adjustment range for focus, I have to dial it all the way to the extreme to focus on distant objects

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good entry level binoculars
There is a migratory bird refuge at my worksite. I used these binoculars to observe a Bald Eagle (there is at least one family of them here) in flight, as well as a Carolina Wren, within 5 minutes of each other. I would call that a good first use sample. The binoculars are light weight and easy to carry. I would recommend them for entry level or maybe first time binocular buyers. My one complaint would be that the field of vision is a little narrow, probably due to their compact size. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Handy, Compact Binoculars
I ordered two different pairs of very similar binoculars for an upcoming little nature getaway. These are not big, fancy, see everything up close binoculars. They are a budget type that is good for someone who wants a compact pair of binoculars that makes it easy to see something better - albeit not super magnified. I stepped outside to see how well these worked, and I could see pomegranate fruit growing on a tree, two yards down. I was able to focus it pretty well and the view was pretty clear. The size is nice and small and they will fit perfectly in a coat pocket, backpack, purse, etc. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Nicely built spotters binoculars
I picked these up for sight seeing on a recent trip and I’m impressed with them overall. When focused you can easily read a car license plate from 100 yards away. Focusing in the left is really easy with the center wheel but the right eye can be difficult since the eye cup moves with the adjustment. You have to take your eye away to focus. It takes some trial and error but it’s not a bad issue. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Handy binoculars that work for me
This is a nice binoculars, that I can use on walks, or in my yard to identify birds. They are light weight and will easily fit into a backpack. I was able to focus them and could use them to see details in the trees in my yards. I hope they really turn out to be waterproof, as stated in the description. Time will tell. The only complaint I have is that in order to focus, I had to move the diopter adjustment to the limit of its range. This could be a problem for someone needing additional focusing. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Fits in Pockets!
Have used once so far under wet conditions. Field of view is adequate to find targets and Chrystal Clear, fogging not an issue and best of all, fits in my jacket pocket. Will follow up in a couple weeks after further use. Have not tried 'Night Vision', didn't know that was a feature. More later
