I installed the lights as permanent outdoor holiday decorations. So far they're working well with minor exceptions. This kit comes with: - The LED strip on a big roll. The strip is more flexible than I expected. The strip itself is not waterproof, but it's covered by a clear silicone jacket that's 12mm wide. If you use the strip outside and you cut the strip, use waterproof silicone glue to re-seal the exposed circuits. - A long strip of double sided tape. My tape strip ran out about 4 feet before the end of the project (possibly due to minor mistakes I made along the way), so I would recommend buying a little extra tape. - Silicone double-sided screw fasteners. I would guess it came with about 100 of them. Their inner width is 12mm. The fasteners aren't rigid, so they aren't meant to be used without the tape. They're good for securing the ends and as a backup in case the tape releases in sections. - The 24V power supply and controller. I wasn't sure these were actually waterproof, so I opened up the controller for a look. I was impressed to see that the circuit inside the controller box is immersed in sealant. I imagine the power supply is similar. The controller receives instructions over Bluetooth (not wifi) from the Magic LED app. I noticed that there appears to be no way to properly secure the Bluetooth connection; anyone who installs the Magic LED app and can get near the controller can change the light pattern. I don't think that's a serious concern, but customers should be aware of that. Also, the controller doesn't appear to have any support for on/off schedules, so you'll probably want to plug the power supply into a smart outlet like I did. My 100 foot strip has just 3 LEDs that can't turn on the red channel. All the other LEDs work correctly. I'm probably the only one who notices the missing colors, so I'm not sure it's worth the effort to fix them. In summary, I'm happy with this purchase. It would have been helpful for the seller to indicate more of the specs that I listed in this review. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Awesome customer service, I mean truly awesome. I’ve been looking for lights for Christmas for the last 4 years but could not find anyone that is willing to do custom work. I asked if I could custom order the LED strips and all they asked was to purchase the product and send them a message thru Amazon of what I was looking for. The LED strips where made to fit different lengths of my home with extra wires to separate each individual LED strand and connect to the same power supply in a series. I used the under side of my roof and I am planning on keeping the lights up all year long. I was impressed with the quality of the workmanship and product quality. They gave me enough adhesive, screws and clips to do the job. Bluetooth was very simple to install on my phone and even easier to use. I know they also offer WiFi setup if you ask for it. There are various Modes that change the look of the LED strips and I’m sure you will find colors that will fit different occasions all year long. I really loved the basic warm white that gives a nice accent light to the roof line of my home. I have several friends and family that are going to buy them in the near future because of the simplicity of install and more importantly because of customer service that was given to me. I purchased a 95' long strip. Admittedly, I was sceptical due to the price and what they claimed these lights could do. I have a very large bar outside and entertained quite often. I really wanted something special that not anybody sees very often and I could use year around. Holy Moly did I hit the jackpot. These led's are phenomenal. Hands down the best strip I have ever had. I will be ordering 3 more strips. Do not hesitate to buy. You will love these lights and they will be the talk of the party. Customer service is excellent communication is great. I had a little problem and they solved it without giving me hassle. Some Phenomenal product and excellent customer service. These lights are a no brainer. Let me tell you that these lights are awesome they are incredibly bright and definitely attract attention. I did however have a problem with a 90 foot section and a 50 foot section but the seller was quick to answer to my problems and offered to replace them. This afterHaving them for almost 2 months. Once I receive these and have them for an extended period of time I will come back and update on the longevity of these lights. Update, received replacement lights as promised!! Love the lights, nice and bright, very customizable. Instructions to customize the app (which settings to set it to initially) could have been better. The string is discrete enough I'm leaving it up year around (tired of getting on the roof to put them up and down every Christmas). And that way I can have customizable light the rest of the year round. Quality of the materials seems good. The screws (hopefully stainless so they wont rust) would go through aluminum siding well but not sheet metal (had to drill pilot holes for those areas). The clips are of excellent quality - more of a silicone material feel than a hard plastic that always seem to get brittle and break. Description said "approximately 2/meter" and that was a little short so I had to space them about 2 feet apart the last 40 feet to have enough. The double sided tape was an excellent quality (3M) tape although I found that it did not stick well to the plastic tube that the lights run through at all. The transformer quit after about 3 weeks but seller is sending a replacement the next day. ... show more
