This was easy to install on our concrete garage floor using construction adhesive made for concrete-vinyl-rubber (we read all the labels on adhesive containers). It’s keeping out the rainwater even after downpours! My garage doesn’t flood anymore! I don’t know why I didn’t think of this sooner! Easy to install I did it myself with just a box cutter I traced where it would lay on the floor then after measuring filled the outline with concrete caulk laid it out and then just sat some bricks on it before closing the garage door on it until it set for about a day. I will say the inner end you have to cut off because it comes rolled up so it won’t really lay flat but there was extra anyway so it didn’t matter. Also make sure it’s not supposed to rain for a few days to make sure you get good contact ... show more

    • Perfect Solution For Gaps

It was easily installed & exactly what we needed. We used Gorilla glue with a caulk gun for adhesion. It is low enough not to cause tripping but high enough to seal beneath the actual garage door gasket. Along with this gasket, some garage door adjustments & some coarse steel wool tucked in a couple of spots, the annoying outdoor critters will have to gnaw in to another place to nest & spend their winter. ... show more

This transition strip at the bottom of the garage door is fantastic. It keeps rain, wind and leaves from entering the garage. We have not even used the adhesive caulking yet. It is just laid down on the concrete floor without any caulking. We wanted to see if it was doable to try it without being permanently caulked to the floor. We might use the adhesive caulking and make it permanent later, but for now we will try it this way. It was very helpful having warm weather so that we could lay the transition strip on our driveway in late summer so that it could relax and flatten out a bit. ... show more

The guard works well at least so far. It was a pain to put down because it was rolled up when it arrived so it doesn't lay out flat very well. Also, it doesn't come with any adhesive so you have to do research to find out the best adhesive to use. So far, the adhesive I used is working. This is the second one I bought because the first one shrunk. I cut it to length and laid it out, but didn't glue it down immediately. When I went to glue it down, it had shrunk nearly 4 inches (I guess from the sun, not sure). I bought the second one and put it down immediately with adhesive. We will see if it shrinks. It rained a lot yesterday and I had no water come into my garage. This product isn't expensive, so we will see how long it lasts. ... show more
