I put this spool in a large clear dog treat container and drilled a hole in the top to pull the cord through. It works great. I used it for a project and then just rewond it to use again. I bought this rope because I needed something strong enough to tie down a small tree during a hurricane. Even though it's fairly thing, it's super strong. There's also alot of it. Just member to burn the ends after you cut them so it doesn't fray and you are good.
