This may be the best thing I’ve ever bought on Amazon and I’ve been shopping Amazon since 1997! I have always wanted a puzzle board but couldn’t justify the prices of ones I’ve seen. I ordered this one during prime days and I don’t regret it! This puzzle board is well made, roomy, super easy to put together. Just add the easy to screw in knobs and adhesive stickers for the lazy Susan. I had it unpacked and ready in 7 minutes. Recently, my mother (in her early eighties) got into doing puzzles. I gave her a large piece of cardboard to work on (so she could move it to another part of the house if company came) but that was a temporary and flimsy solution. This puzzle board is much sturdier, with size nice drawers. One of the drawer pulls was a little wonky, but it screwed into place, albeit crookedly. The only drawback is the overall weight of the board; it might be a little heavy for an older person to carry about if needed. ... show more

    • Game changer for my puzzles! Great organization, but some portability concerns
Style: 1500 Piece Rotating
I love love love this puzzle tray (it's the first of its kind I've ever used). The rotation is SUCH a nice feature and I'm glad I upgraded for it. After attaching the rotating bit, I worried that the tray might warp or break when I lean on it since it is raised and not flush with the surface underneath, but I'm happy to say it's held up quite nicely and seems well-made. Will update if anything breaks. I like that the drawers can be pulled fully out of the unit, so you can use them as mini-assembly trays or to sort your pieces. I really only have three concerns with this product: 1. Construction: The wood is unfinished and definitely needs a good sanding. I got a splinter while carrying it to my table. (As a crafty person, my silver lining here is that I can sand then paint or stain the wood whenever I get to it.) 2. Portability: I got the size that can fit 1500 piece puzzles and it's not easy to move by yourself once you have a puzzle started, or if you have anything in the drawers. In fact, when I flipped it over to install the rotating tray, two of the drawers fell out. A magnetic closure would be nice to make sure they stay closed until you want to open them. If moving with a puzzle in progress or content in the drawers, you will need two people (or longer arms than mine). 3. Pieces might fall out of the drawers and into the middle of the unit. I guess to retrieve those, you would need to find a long thin object to push them out through another drawer slot? You wouldn't be able to retrieve them by tilting since your puzzle on top would fall. (This hasn't happened to me yet, but I am anticipating it will at some point.) My daughter and I love working on puzzles together. However finding the space to work on them has always been difficult. The puzzles would cover our dining room table for weeks. This puzzle tray saved us! Not only does it have drawers to store the puzzle pieces as we work on it, the plastic cover allows us to keep the parts we have completed together and safe when we need a break. The tray is sturdy and slightly awkward to carry from room to room and kind of heavy but that doesn't mean we don't love it. This tray is with us for the long haul! ... show more

It’s just plywood and particle board, but for the functionality and price it’s a pretty impressive design. We needed something to facilitate moving the puzzle off the dining table as needed, and while this is a bit heavier n therefore clumsier than say the cardboard panel we were using before, it’s not difficult at all. Particularly given the plastic cover included, perfect for keeping dust off and holding everything down during a move. We debated not adding the ‘lazy Susan’ on the bottom, but since it’s only stick-on we’re trying it out. It is handy if you want to work the other side of the puzzle without getting up and moving around the table. The little drawers are fantastic, perfect for storing image collections for future assembly as the picture comes together. We deduced we probably could have made this (hubs is handy), but definitely not at a price lower than what we got with the added sale coupon. At that reduced price tag, it’s worth every penny. Given the particle board there Is the possibility of warpage in climates with extreme humidity, but the plywood frame is pretty sturdy, it should prevent that from happening for at least several years. This puzzle board is a must have if you enjoy doing puzzles. Easy to organize pieces. You can start a puzzle and move it out of the way when you are not working on it. Who wants to keep a card table out in the middle of a room indefinitely, right? I bought the 1500 pieces size even though we typically do 1000 pieces puzzles.
