I used these for a kids craft project for our history class. We were learning about mosaics and created our own mosaics at the end of the lesson. These pieces were very easy to work with and the colors were really pretty. Regular white school glue worked wonderfully on these tiles. I liked how the pieces were separated by shape, because it helped kids easily find what they were looking for based on what design they wanted to do. The only downside was that we had significantly more square pieces than triangles and rhombus, but both of those shapes were big hits. I would have liked more of those sizes in the "Mixed Shape" set. But in all, the kids loved the project and were willing to use what they had to make some really neat mosaics! ... show more

Love all the different shapes in this set. I used these to make coasters and applied the tiles with e6000 glue and I haven't had any issues with them calling off! Love all the various colors, gives each coaster its own special color scheme!

The different shapes are good -- triangles, squares, rectangles, parallelograms. Most of the colors are bright - red, yellow, orange, green, some shades of blue, except for the deep deep reddish-brown ones, which are almost opaque. I pull those out and discard them. I've used these glass tiles before but did not review them. I recommend these tiles for glass application for candle holders, turkish lamps etc. Colors are vibrant & transparent enough for light to through.
