I used this mango butter to make lip balm, which I make every year for Christmas gifts. Last year I ordered a different brand and when I opened the bag, it had a strong rancid smell. It was the first time I'd ever used mango butter so I wasn't sure if that was normal or not. It was too late to get more so I made the lip balm, hoping the essential oils in my recipe would mask the scent. Unfortunately they did not, and my whole batch smelled bad. This year I used this brand and was so relieved and pleased to find it had NO foul odor! It had only a light, pleasant scent which did not overpower the recipe.
