We built in a new neighborhood not realizing that a street lamp was being installed right outside the guest bedroom. We needed a quick solution for visiting family. The blackout material was easy to install. It did fall down the first night but that was because I was trying to use minimal adhesive strips, only using two. Once I added two at the bottom as well, it hasn't fallen since. It is nice and dark for sleeping. I consider this only a temporary solution until I can get heavier drapes made. This product does what it says, BLACKOUT! It is great at blocking out the light, even with the slightly uneven cutting. It is a VERY large fabric (It's thin like paper, so I'm not sure what kind of material to call it). I used the double-sided stickies. They work well, but take some work to peal the backings off of. I got these curtains because I am a nightshift nurse for 3+ years and these are the best curtain adhesives that I have ever used. You can cut them to whatever size you need. Comes with sticky glue and with velcro. Never fell off my windows! They kept the light out so well and it felt like nighttime when I was sleeping during the day. 10/10 recommend for anyone on the nightshift life! It came in a big sheet and I just cut the material to size for our window. It helped prevent so much glare and definitely keeps all the light out! The sticky pads that it came with work phenomenal and can be removed if you ever want to take it down or move it. Which I was surprised about, I thought they would for sure strip the paint on the walls or something, but it didn't. I love these and would use these over curtains to be honest. I just got this and installed it in two windows. I cut it in two and it fit two of my windows perfectly. They are light weight and easy to cut. And they come with two different adhesive options. I used the velco ones since I couldn't figure out how to use the clear dots (its silly but I really couldn't figure how they stick to it). Its gonna be over 100 here all week and this is helping block out ALL the sun. I love how easy it is to hang up: no poles, no holes, just stick it up and be done. Highly recommend. ... show more
