Where to start with this thing.. Pros: - All the parts arrived neatly packaged and together and shipping wasn't too delayed - Extra screws and such are included - The demensions are exactly as shown, it's large - When all assembled it's VERY heavy.. Which was a pro for me, but may be a con for others - I was able to get it all together myself, but it took me a whole day pretty much (I would NOT recommend doing it by yourself, get at least another person to help) Cons: - Some of the holes don't line up with the threads, so several screws just snapped or got mangled when inserting - As you can see in the pics some pieces arrived scraped/dented, and the paint comes off easily - This metal, (especially the legs), are super thin. Don't expect this to be hurricane proof or anything, it absolutely is not - The hardware to attach this to the house/ground are not up to code and are flimsy.. If you're planning on attaching it, do yourself a favor and get actual cement anchors/bolts and well made brackets that are actually made for that function - If you're planning on this being a free standing structure, if your ground is not completely level this will crush itself and bend the metal (personal experience with that one) I set mine up and let go and it immediately tilted and bent the front bar/legs until I strapped it down temporarily Conclusion: Is it worth a couple hundred bucks? Eh, I guess.. It's easier than planning out your own, but after setting it up I almost rather just spent the same amount on the wood/hardware and done it myself. At least where I live it's actually cheaper after I priced out all the parts I'd need from Home Depot/Lowes if I was to build one myself with lumber, and it'd be WAY more stable.. Look up some videos on building your own patio covers then decide if you still want to buy this. Edit: I ended up bolting the legs to cement blocks and burying those, that helped a bit. And then I strapped the back with wire cables to tie downs that I screwed into the ground. It finally doesn't wobble and want to fall over now.. We'll see if it lasts through any kind of storm.. ... show more

Took two full days to put together. Looks sturdy. I purchased this to keep the rain from coming into the house and for shade. Hasn't rained yet but it's a good cover from the sun.
