To be fair, the dimensions are give. The unit is noted to hold only 22lbs... We didn't even reach 14 lbs and this puppy was wanting to tip forward. There is a T bracket to adhere to the back, but I'm not going to personally bother. It'll be a return item seeing as how I can't get the use I need out of it. Definitely easy construction considering they put a screwdriver with the unit. The wood itself was pretty weak. ... show more

The pilot hole for the bottom piece came on the wrong side, which made it so the base couldn't attached. I had to drill my own hole but then the pieces on the back didn't align. It looks janky and crooked. I'm frustrated that the pieces came wrong and the bookshelf looks really cheap and poorly made because it's not aligned. Would not recommend. ... show more

This shelf is cute and perfect for small spaces. The holes don’t line up so when you screw it together, the screws go through your wood and the back looks wonky.
