A lot of people said they had issues with it not being the thickness it states, I took the mattress protector off while it was airing out and it's actually a half inch thicker. So I suggest taking all the plastic and the protector off! It's firm, so if you want softer, a topper is suggested! I have Lymes Disease, so I have a lot of joint pain and stiffness, this mattress helped so much and I'm getting much better sleep already. The mattress is good, seems firm yet soft. No one has sat or laid on it yet since I've been leaving it to rise for 3 days. It is definitely shorter than 6inches. Omg this mattress is extremely comfortable. It didn’t take long at all to rise. My husband loves it as well. It feels amazing on my spine. Instead of spending $1000 on a mattress I would recommend this one. It’s so comfortable. I slept amazing when using it.

If you’re looking to save money do yourself a favor and send the extra on a better mattress. Had to buy a $130 foam topper after letting it inflate for a week and it still feels like I’m sleeping on a rock.

This is a nice bed and I haven’t woken up with an aching back which is a plus. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because as soon as you sit down on the bed you get like a stuck feeling, to where you don’t want to get up lol. Otherwise it’s great
