I love eating lion’s mane and have even grown them from mushroom grow kits. They’re delicious when butter sauteed, and as the current trend will have it, lion’s mane is the IT mushroom for nootropic application. It is known and studied for the nerve growth factor it contains for replenishing lost nerve cells and possible neural growth in addition to antioxidant properties and immune support through β-glucans. I have tried various highly reputed brands of lion’s mane over the years, but this is the first lion’s mane powder (including from capsules) that actually tastes palatable as to others that curiously taste nothing like the tasty mushroom. The fine powder has a bit of sweetness and a hint of caramel with earthy notes, and I can directly place it under my tongue for sublingual absorption. When used in tea or coffee, it dissolves easily and hardly affects various beverage flavors. I find it confusing as I’m writing this review that my received bottle for review is clearly labeled USDA certified organic but the currently posted product photos aren’t under the linked listing, so please note the discrepancy as I may have received the 10,000mg 10x concentrated organic version also available under the brand. The product is manufactured in the USA, but when I contacted the seller for the lion’s mane mushroom sourcing, they promptly replied “We ethically source our Lion's Mane ingredient from China.” However, it is good to know that it’s produced in a GMP-certified facility for higher standards and third-party tested for contamination and heavy metals as described under product details. You should exercise caution when supplementing lion’s mane, as many have noticed a crash if ingesting long-term without a break. If you’re noticing fatigue or other burnout symptoms, you should take a break and try taking it several days on, then a few days off using the pulse dosing method to allow rest for the body from the strains of growth factors. I plan to use the rest of my powder sublingually to heighten the beneficial effects, and this powder is perfect for that application. ... show more

This is superior-quality lion's mane powder. It is extremely fine. You can see from my images just after opening the can there was some residue around the edge. Some got out. You can then see after I dug the scoop out it was a little more messy. Finally, I dropped a scoop into the amount of coffee you see in the third image. It mixed right in and I didn't notice it at all. I put it in coffee because I'd read other mushroom powder reviews that suggested doing that. Another review of this particular powder said you should put it in hot liquid. In any case, it disappeared and imparted absolutely no taste to the coffee. I drink it black, no sweetener, and the single scoop (1 gram) of powder did not budge the flavor. That's good, in my book. The powder has a slight scent that is fresh and pleasant. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be, but assuming it is, it's great in my book. I don't mind the slight mess, and I'd rather get appreciable amounts of the good stuff, which you get here, than less and having to swallow more capsules (which I don't even really mind, either). It's a small can, but there are a lot of servings in it, so I think it's a good value.     • Great powder to make mushroom anything; works great in my coffee
This jar of lion's mane powder is great for turning anything into a mushroom drink, whether that's coffee, a smoothie, or even just mushroom tea. I personally like being able to add it to the base coffee of my choice. Since the serving size is so small, the jar contains 90 servings. Since this is a single mushroom extract rather than a blend of up to 7 that you see in a lot of mushroom supplements, you're only getting the benefits of lion's mane. That said, there's a lot of research that speaks to its individual benefits. The powder mixes in to coffee easily and has a minimal impact on the aroma and flavor. In my go-to decaf coffee, which is a dark roast with a lot of character, I really don't notice any major differences. There seems to be a slight increase in the mouthfeel of the coffee (a slight amount thicker) and just a little extra flavor (earthy) that pairs really well with the dark roast. Other than having to stir it to keep the powder in suspension, it's nearly the same as a regular cup. Overall, I'm really happy with this powder for the convenience of adding it to whatever drink I want. It's manufactured in the US, too, which is a big plus for me. Recommended! ... show more

    • Toniiq 10,000mg Lions Mane Powder Very tasty for adding to smoothies or coffee.
I've been happy with the products that I've ordered from Toniiq brand. The quality and value have been very competitive, and I've reordered many of the products. I've been trying various Lion's Mane products, and noticed this one from Toniiq and wanted to try it. So far I'm happy with the powder, the texture, the value and the taste. I can't speak to how well it works for me yet, but I'll update when I have a month a few more weeks of use. I typically can notice benefits within a few weeks with Lion's Mane. There are so many grades and ways to cultivate the mushrooms, and I don't understand all of it, but I do know when I like a product. I prefer the bulk loose powders over the capsules, and in this case the flavor helps to make this powder easy to consume. No bitter taste and would taste good in coffee. A bit of a warm cocoa vibe. So far I am happy with this product enough to stick with it and continue using it. 5 stars ... show more

    • good ingredients, good company that makes good products
I have tried there pills & they worked great. When I noticed they had it in powder form I had to try it. It's as good as their pill form, the only thing with the powder is your going to taste it a little bit more then pill form. The taste wasn't bad at all. It was a little different at first, but I got quickly use to it... Make sure to stir well to fully dissolve. Good product and good company, the ingredients in the products are good quality and tend to be more potent/ Stronger... I saw it in this product in the powder form or the pill form... It worked well for me... ... show more
