    • Works but could be better with pure copper wire
This amplifier kit works good. Could be better with pure copper wire and not copper plated aluminum wire. I crimped my own copper lugs onto the wires. I prefer copper lugs for my terminals but the ones that come in the kit will work just fine. This is a decent kit for the price.

This is a great kit for amp install. Nice thick copper wires, and it comes with everything you might need to get it installed and done. I like that it’s of higher quality with lower gauge cables, and it comes with the fuse block and other parts to do this all in one, no need for additional parts to get it installed. ... show more

This kit is the beginning of hubby's stereo setup. I got it because it's a well thought out kit, making it a great value for what you get. Hubby didn't want a separate fuse setup and is happy that's included. He hasn't installed anything yet but thinks the kit is robust. Will update if there are any issues. ... show more

So the accessories in this are as expected. It’s a simple amplifier set up kit for a car. I used it for a workbench power supply set up. All of the products work exactly the same. I could easily use this to set up an additional subwoofer or amplifier in our car, but decided to use it for the workbench instead. All of the materials seem to be of high-quality, including the fuse. The fuse holder fits snuggly and does not seem like it would come loose while in motion.     • Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA), not Oxgen Free Copper (OFC)
This will never be a 5 star product, no matter how nice, because it's CCA. CCA Aluminum is not as conductive as OFC copper, so for the same power or resistance (same cable loss) you have to go with a bigger cable. OFC is smaller, and therefore better, objectively. This kit is comparable to 2 AWG OFC, and actually, I was expecting it to compare to more like 4 AWG conductivity, but this 1/0 CCA ( I need to measure and verify) is equal in conductivity to 2AWG OFC according to PowerStream.com CCA has almost 2x the voltage drop compared to OFC. Why do they made CCA? Because it's cheaper, but not as good as OFC. ... show more

This kit has all the major wiring you will need for installing a monster amplifier. The power cables are very thick and include heavy duty ends. The other cables appear to be high quality and will make it easy to do longer runs between stereo and amp.
