The nicely sculpted grips that came with my Trek FX2 were driving me nuts with wrist pain. I wanted something was just round and normal, and ended up trying these.     • Great Ergon G series knockoffs
Very comfortable and have held up well for the past 1000 miles. One pair of two that I bought needed excessive tightening to keep from moving, so I had to use a bit of fiber paste to hold them in place. They do seem to need move frequent tightening as the retain screws work loose. Well worth the price though. ... show more

    • Add a knickle!
We got these to replace my sons handlebar grips because the handlebar ends broke through the ends of the old grips and were slowly starting to slide towards the center of the handlebars. I put a knickle (which fits perfectly) inside the grip & used a 1/2 inch socket extender with a 14mm socket to slowly push the knickle all the way to the bottom to lat flat in each grip, so the end ends of the handlebar will have to go thru the knickle before it goes thru the end of the grip! A 10 cent upgrade! You'll want to used some kind of lube (like water or hairspray) to help get these on! My son says they feel great & look cool on his HitWheels bike. ... show more

Picked up a used bike for my grandson. The grips were very worn. These compliment the bike beautifully! I also used a trick sited by another customer. I placed a nickle inside each grip before sliding them on. This will help keep the grips from moving up the handlebars. And a little 409 sprayed inside the grips made the install super simple. ... show more

I used this to revamp a used beach cruiser into a more upright rider. The material is quite comfortable to use while riding. The shape fits the hand quite nicely and makes for a more relaxed ride. The only issue I experienced was that I initially put them on the opposite sides of the handlebar. To mount I used a very small amount of silicone spray lubrication and they twisted on just fine, after setting for a short time they are just as hard to remove as any other handgrip though so make sure they go on the right way the first time. ... show more

Great price. Easy install. Looks sharp and feels good on the hand. Use hairspray to help install. Easy on then when dry the grip doesn't move. I had to trim the length of one grip to fit on my son's handlebars to accommodate for the grip shift. But I knew that going in. Recommend.
