Looking forward to installing and using. The delay in installing is due to the spacers included are not the same size. So, off to the hardware store to get new spacers. So far product looks good, but it is the little things.

    • This is NOT heavy duty.
It is not heavy duty, in fact i am not exactly sure i trust mounting my phone to it. I cannot think of a good reason for the odd shape of it. So for a small cycling computer or watch. I did put my phone on it and suspect once it gets bounced around a few rides and i will be removing it and putting a cycling computer in its place. ... show more

    • Needs tweaking.
Same as others have stated, needs to be modified to accept the next size up clamp bolts. I drilled out mount and found 2 longer bolts to work on my stem. Would take simple tooling adjustment for the manufacturer to fix.

    • Nice bike handlebar extension - just not fit to mine
Light weight and sturdy. Unfortunately, its opening was smaller than bolts on my bike handlebar. I thought about drilling to make wider, but my original bolts were not long enough to secure the extender. Return/Refund was easy and swift.

After purchasing the other kind of handlebar extension & returning & it because of twisting & turning I saw this, as being less than 6" long I thought it would not be long enough for my needs but as I gave it more thought I decided to just buy it. Although it is hollow & open along the length slightly it really doesn't matter. I now have a light & my Garmin 800 series display mounted on it with room for something else & this is solid. At first I bolted it on facing the handlebar but after using it I decided to turn it around for more clearance it did not affect any stability, you can actually move this extension side to side slightly if needed. ... show more

Like another reviewer stated, the bar is actually hallow and the underside is open for the entire length. This doesn't really affect anything though. The only drawback is that the mount is completely straight. One is on my significant others' bike which has a 7-degree stem making the mount continue that trajectory. It would be nice if there was one that had an angle to make the mount more parallel to ground. For my bikes with a parallel stem, the aesthetics are much nicer. Easy to mount and holds whatever accessories I throw at it. ... show more
