It wasn't long ago when these monitors were very expensive. Today that isn't the case. Very good pricing and a quality monitor. It is light, easy to carry (we carry it in our regular computer bag). comes with all the cables you might need. I use it with the usbC cable and it provides the power and signal. You can power it with the included power plug and USB cable and send the signal via an hdmi cable - also included. The picture is clear and flicker free - due to its higher refresh rate. I have to go from site to site, and this monitor is perfect for traveling with me and my laptop. It has a great picture, is powered by the usb-c cable as long as my laptop is getting power from an outlet. Both the monitor and laptop fit easily into my backpack.     • It's an okay display but a couple deal breaking issues
I received mine today and have been testing it for a couple hours. Physically it's really well made for a brand I've never heard of. No dead pixels or issues at first look. Came well packed as well. But, there are a couple issues that are likely going to have me sending it back. First being that I purchased this primarily for a travel gaming display. It's advertised to have 350 nits brightness in the specs on the sales description. Well, it doesn't. I measured it with my light meter and it can't even get close to 300 nits brightness which is bare minimum for gaming. I could only get 260 nits on mine with contrast and brightness max which is just not adequate for gaming. And when you crank the brightness to even get there, everything looks terribly washed out. My second issue is the OSD menu controls are awful. They make no sense in the commands they give based on their physical configuration on the side of the screen. You end up constantly either bumping the power button, or endlessly looping through the menu fumbling with which button does what. I've owned dozens of monitors and this on screen display is by far the worst. Yes it does 144Hz and it does support freesync using the top right usb-c port. But it's just way to dim and low contrast to even be teased as a portable gaming display. They need to change their advertising and be honest about the real brightness level. There are some 16" models that advertise 500 nits so that will probably be the next one to try. ... show more

Very nice addition to my Gateway Creator series 17.3 inch laptop. Had to turn the brightness all the way up and thinking with the contrast to get it to match my laptop’s display. The Gateway Creator series has an RTX 3050 Ti and a high end display panel so I didn’t fully expect it to match the display quality but it’s pretty close. I found the display will run off the power of one USB-C port but every few minutes the display reboots like it isn’t getting enough power. I have to use the USB-C to USB-C cable and the USB-C to USB-A cable both connected to my laptop for the display to stay on. Also I noticed a lot of stuttering when watching video until I turned on freesync which seems to have fixed that. ... show more
